Background: Michael Locke, son of a mechanic named Jason Locke and his secretary wife, was born in South Yorkshire in 1967. His father was a hard-working, honest man and wished to give those values onto his son. Michael's childhood was, all things considered, alright. His father was a little free with his fist at times, but back then it was accepted as diciplin.Michael was at school and had a great promise of a wonderful career. He was easily accepted into University when he was 19, and was eager to start his education as a doctor of medicine.

He was without any doubt skilled in his chosen subject. He worked hard and had an easy mannerism that most warmed to. His bedside manners were impeccable andhis humour warming. He graduated as one of the top of his class and was quickly given a job. He had a good life, without any doubt. His work paid offand he had a nice flat in London, spending most of his time working or outsocialising. Most considered him a perfect gentleman. His parents both died ina car accident when Michael was 29, something which was a hard hit for him and his sister Jennifer.

But life took a hard turn when Michael met Peter Giles. Peter was a young man with cancer, dying and knowing it. Michael and Peter became good friends, andMichael was taken aback when Peter asked him to kill him. Mercykillings were something that Michael often had said was wrong, yet faced with the suffering of his young friend, he was struck with how cruel it was to him. It took Michael several weeks to decide, before he visited his friend with a deadly injection. He took his life with sadness, knowing he didn’t have that long live. It should have ended there.

But it didn’t. The drug used was traced back to Michael, 30 at the time, and he was trialed and sentenced to six years in prison for what he had done. Michael had trouble in prison, mostly because he was thrust into an enviroment he felt he should not be in. The six years crawled, but Michael put them to use with reading. He took a Master degree in English Literature, learnt to play the piano and planned his life once he would be let out. But his career as a doctor was ruined, and all he had left was an expensive education and knowledge he could no longer practice.

Adapting to the real life was hard too. No one trusted a former convicted,especially one who had been in the news as much as Michael had. He fled to Kent where he took stray jobs, mostly working as a part-time manager at a small Bed & Breakfast. In 2005, his sister invited him to Japan with her. She was there with her boyfriend, who worked in Tokyo. Michael went there with here and spent three weeks with her, before booking a flight to Seattle where he intended to visit an old friend that had renewed contact with him. Michael Locke is missing and presumed dead after his flight disappeared on the way to Seattle.
