Background: Dante Blackmer was born in Haag (known as The Hague), Holland, on the 7th of December 1984. Both his parents worked within the UN at the International Criminal Court, and Dante grew up there, although travelling often to England to visit family. He went to a private school just outside Hague and returned home in the weekends. Dante and his older sister always had a good relationship, but they were allowed to do whatever they pleased from an early age. Dante was interested in a lot of things, mostly music and art. He was taught how to play the guitar when he was ten, but lack of interest never got him past being an average player.

Dante knew very well that he was destined for law. It ran in the family after all, and his father would have loved to see his son in an international court room. But his ideas rested with others things than schoolwork. He preferred going out clubbing, spending time with friends and chase every pretty thing on two legs. He was passionate, and as a teenager he tried to be as rebellious as possible. He wore make-up and a nail varnish and skipped school. Despite it, he couldn’t stand when people called him freak to his face, and his temper often got the overhand. He was also passionate with all he did, from what he listened to to who he loved. When he fell, he fell hard and with an obsessive twist, willing to do anything. When he was 17 he fell for Greta Meijer, there was no doubt in his heart that he would follow her to the end of the world. In a sense he did, for the next year she went to Japan to study, and he followed her, wanting to take a BA in International and Comparative Law and be with her

He taught himself Japanese and spent every day with her, sneaking into her room at night to place roses on her table, or watch her when she was with her friends. And when they were really apart, he would think about her, spend his hours pining away from her. Yet, somewhere inside, he knew that she didn’t return his love as strongly as he would have wanted to. Japan was an interesting experience for Dante, and he learnt easily. Since the study was in English, and since he had grown up with things like that, it was easy for him to focus on different things. Like Greta, and Japanese, and having fun. He was in a small band, playing the guitar and doing the vocals whenever they needed a masculine voice, since Greta was the lead singer. Everything was fine, until 2005 when Greta suddenly went cold on him. Dante tried for days to reason with her, trying to find out what was wrong, before she told him what it was in anger. She called him a freak, said that he was smothering her with his presence. In his anger, he threw out several of her things from her apartment before leaving, using his mobile to book the first plane ticket out of Japan. The plane was heading to Seattle.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black jeans, boots and a black leather duster. He was said to have been carrying with him his mobile phone, wallet, a MP3 player, a small sketchbook and a pencil. The plane went missing, and he is presumed dead. Special notes: Dante is above all a very passionate man who isn’t all too certain or happy with what he is. He tried to project an image as a cool and smooth man, always acting something between punk, rock and goth, He loves hard, he hates hard and he parties hard, and above all things he loves. He is slightly obsessive with his relationships and has a lot of powerful emotions in him, for no apparently reason what so ever. He has a good relationship with his sister, and a decent contact with his parents.
