Background: Archibalt Wingham was the middle child of Angela and Mitchum Wingham.  Being the only boy, Archibalt, or Archie, became a clown from the early beginning. He had an outgoing personality, and was typically the class clown.  Archies father tried to stifle his son's personality by punishing him.  But it never worked, and he always kept his sisters in stitches by dressing up in various costumes.  Even though Archie was the class clown, he was a wonderful student, with a passion for history. He would learn a little bit about American history, then search for more information about it.  He took his first trip to America when he was 17 and fell in love with it.  He applied to Harvard University and got accepted.  He majored in education, with history as the topic of choice.  He would come dressed up in whatever time period they were studing. The professors gave him several warnings, and he was expelled. That did not stop Archie from wanting to become a teacher.  He enrolled in a community college and got  a degree. The year after he graduated, while he was substituting, he met Thadius Hamilton, a page for a television station. Thadius saw something in Archie's personality, and pitched a tv show to PBS called "Mister History," a take off Mister Rodgers but aimed at older children and taught history.  Thad and Archie began an intamate relationship, but ended it when Thad became jealous of Archie's success

Archie loved taking care of people, and it didn't matter if it was male or female. He loved being in love, even if briefly. At the time of his disapearnce, he had two lovers. Janie Walters a model in New York, and Logan Reede, a cook in his native Australia. "Mister History" may have made Archie a star, but from the start he was fighting with writers about historical accuriecies.  He continued fighting for 12 years, rewriting scripts on air.  In the  middle of the 12th year, he walked out middle of a taping after an arguement with a producer. After Archie walked out, he was being threatened with a law suit for walking out on a contract. From 2000-2005 he traveled the world, moving on whenever he thought the lawyers were getting close to finding him. This did not mean that he hid, just the opposite. He used  his popularity with teens as Mister History to continue teach history in gigs and at highschool.  He was on his way to visit Janie in Seattle when he disapeared.
