For the sake of smooth game play, we ask that you follow some simple rules:

1) Okay, first and most important rule, a PC is just that, a Player’s Character, so if you are writing a post or a storyline that involves another’s PC, please ask permission from them first...on the same line, please don’t be killing or hurting etc. anyone else’s PC without the player’s permission upon knowing exactly what you have planned. We also ask that you seek permission with NPCs also, as many will be specifically connected to one player...however feel free to kill, maim etc your own PC or NPCs.

2) We ask that you post a minimum of once a fortnight, preferably with each character, to keep the game moving and smooth.

3) Please, no ‘tags’. It fills the inbox up, slows the game play down and makes things extremely hard to follow when replies are being shot around left right and centre. If you want to write with another character, which is extremely encouraged as writing with others is the whole point of simming, then contact the player privately and write a joint post with them to then send to the list as a finished piece.

4) No ‘super hero’ characters (also known as god moding)... they spoil the game for others and are just plain annoying. No character could single-handedly slaughter a herd of wild animals, or rescue ten people from a cave-in by themselves and without getting a scratch on them...we simply ask that characters are written realistically, ie, no one is perfect and no one is fantastic at everything, so please don’t submit such characters as they will not be accepted.

5) Should a problem come up, either with another character, or another player, or the story line, or a question etc. please contact one of the GM or AGMs to sort it out, please don’t try and do it yourself as it leads to all sorts of problems. We encourage *constructive* feedback to player’s posts, or even a simple ‘well done, I loved it’ to the writer if you feel something you’ve read is especially good, but under no circumstances start flaming people, it’s something that shan’t be tolerated...as said above, if there’s a problem, tell it to the GM, not the player or the list.

6) The GM and AGMs hold the right to refuse entry to any writer that they feel may have a negative effect on the group.

7) If you will be unable to post for a period of time for whatever reason, please contact the GM or one of the AGMs to let them know.

8) Last, but by very no means least, this is a game for people aged 18 or over. Expect scenes suitable for adults only, with mature, and sometimes abrasive, subject matter and Story Lines going on. If you are easily offended by such, then this isn’t the sim for you. You have been warned. However, all posts that contain explicit material are expected to hold a content warning at the top of the post. If you choose to ignore a warning on a post, then you have read on through the post of your own free will knowing what it contains, and it is not the writer’s fault but your own if you are offended by what you see.

The whole purpose of this sim is to have fun...hopefully the above are just aids to that, as having fun with the writing and story is the most important thing.
