Parade of Champions |
The Parade of Champions is an event that happens at our fair where we honor the 1st and 2nd place animals of each market class. Also, during this time the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion of each species are selected. This year at the Parade of Champions the Desert Compadres 4-H club was represented very well. In the lamb portion, our club won 3 out of the 4 market classes and in the one that we didn't win, we had a 2nd place. In the swine division, we had 2 kids compete and received 2 2nd place wins. All in all there were 6 people in the Parade of Champions from the Desert Compadres. Congratulations to everyone! We are so proud of you! |

Here are Tara and Kimberly. Kimberly won her market lamb class while Tara was 2nd in her's. I think Tara's face is going to crack if she keeps smiling like she is. Also in the picture are Eric and Maria who won 2nd place in each of their market swine classes. |
