| Awards Night November 19, 2002 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Every year all of the 4-H Clubs get together and share with everyone the awards that were won over the preceeding year. This year each club had a country that they were representing with food and a short presentation. One club had Mexico, another had Italy, our club had America. We decided to bring some of the most well know American food, Fast Food. We brought Hamburgers, French Fries and Chicken from every fast food restaurant in town. I guess our idea went over well, our food was gone first. For our presentation we decided to highlight some of the most memorable moments and people in U.S. History. We had members of our club dress up like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, Niel "Buzz" Armsrong and Martin Luthur King Jr. Marlo and Mathew wrote and presented this to the crowd of more than 200 people. It was a big success! |
