Trina moved behind Ezra to watch. Ezra squeezed her shoulder, comfortingly.

Lacey´s nose was bleeding from Karol´s punch but the idiot appeared unfazed.

Ridley sighed, “Don't know when you've been beat, do you Lacey?”

Karol shrugged, “Too much silicon. Went to her brain."

She never had much of a brain to begin with, so that silicon sure didn't help any." Laura replied.

Lacey looked to Buck, “these are your friends? You really are a bad judge of character Buck. Only good thing you´ve done was fuck me, several times I will add. And Drew left because she couldn´t even begin to compete. She´s the low-life, her, she´s the loser, the one who left you. I say good riddance Drew.” She wiped some of the blood from her nose and glared to Karol again.

Ezra muttered vehemently, "You're the loser. We'd certainly love to be rid of you.”

Buck started to shake, “you killed my son! You and your schemes. Just thinking I had sex with you makes me want to vomit! It ended way before Drew came along because I wised up. You stupid fucking slut! I wish YOU were dead, you hear me whore? Get the fuck out of my face slut!”

“Well said Pard.” Chris looked to him and patted his shoulder. “Get out Lacey now, last warning.”

“Buck you´re drunk.” Lacey moved towards him. “I know you don´t mean any of this. You hate Drew as much as I do.” Buck loved her, she knew it. All she had to do was get him back in her bed and everything would be fine again. Besides Maude was paying her well to keep him out of Drew´s life. So far she had been succeeding. Now her goal was to have him back in her bed.

“I love my wife!”

“That baby probably wasn´t even yours Buck!” Lacey screamed.

Laura's grip on her pole tightened as she smacked Lacey with it. "You fucking bitch!" She snarled, advancing on her more.

Lacey took the pool stick from Laura and threw it across the room. The woman was out of control.

That last comment was too much for Trina. Hearing Lacey come on to Buck was one thing, but to insult Brandon's memory was another thing entirely. Trina growled and pushed out from behind Ezra, charging Lacey. "Don't you dare talk about Drew that way.”

Buck blinked a few times, “what did you say whore? He was MY son, mine and Sunshine´s, and you took him from us and you took Drew away too. I hate you, and I´ll never forgive you. Drew is so much more then you ever will be--”

Lacey pushed Trina back then looked to Buck, “That baby probably wasn´t even your son!”

Buck growled out loudly getting an arm free form where Josiah had held onto him.

Ridley was stunned by Lacey´s comments regarding Brandon. Rage boiled from deep within her, completely taking control. “You whore,” she screamed, lunging forward at the cheap tramp.

Vin had been standing close by, uncertain of the way things were going and believing it necessary to be close. Lucky for Lacey, he had. He reached out quickly, grabbing Ridley by the waist as she struggled in his arms. She had managed to connect with Lacey's cheek, her nails digging deep into the skin and leaving short trails of blood.

"You bitch. You are going to pay for that comment. Vin, put me down. Dammit Vin, I mean it. You put......" Ridley's voice trailed off as the door to the grille shut behind her and Vin.

Trina advanced again grabbing Lacey´s hair.

Lacey screamed out grabbing her face and she struggled with Trina.

Laura went over and grabbed onto Lacey. "You will never be as good as Drew you trailer park trash!"

Trina was still pulling on Lacey's hair. "Let's throw this trash out on the street. Where it belongs."

Karol began to advance on Lacey again but stopped when JD grabbed her arm.

JD grabbed onto Karol, “this has gone far enough right?” He looked over to Chris who stood watching.

Chris looked to JD and held onto Buck not making any comment.

Nathan looked towards the women as he saw Laura grabbing Lacey's arm while Trina had her hair. "Laura," he started.

"Stay out of this Nathan, this bitch has had this coming for a long time," Laura growled.

"Just be careful; honey," Nathan said with a nonchalant air.

Ezra looked to Dwayne, “as the owner's son, I am speaking on her behalf and she is not to be allowed back on the premises. If she comes back, she will be arrested for trespassing.”

“Let me go!” Lacey screamed. “Arrest them! I will sue!”

A tear trickled down Buck´s cheek and he sat back down, “where is she? Where´s my Sunshine?”

Karol looked to Buck tears coming to her own eyes. She looked over and watch as Trina and Laura dragged Lacey out to the parking lot.

Josiah walked over and took her hand "You alright?"

Karol nodded "Yes I will be." She smiled as he kissed the hand she hit Lacey with.

"Who you gonna sue, you washed up whore?" Trina hissed. "You don't have any witnesses. And it isn't like you´re worth a halfpence either"

Lacey kicked Trina knocking her down, only to lose a whole lot of hair for her effort. “Watch me! I have the bruises for proof!”

Trina cried out and kicked back.

“I'm sure you get enough rough customers to explain that away," Laura growled, smashing her fist into her stomach.

Lacey fell to her knees after Trina´s kick and Laura´s punch.

Dwayne came to the door. “Ladies I think that should do it, please come inside before this goes any further and she has witnesses.” He pointed to a car driving by.

Trina slowly got back on her feet. She had not reckoned on a street brawl. Lacey had to be hyped up on something. She should be showing some signs of pain from this.

Dwayne looked to Lacey as she stood back up. “What the hell are you on? Chris! I think we got a user here!”

Laura looked up and offered a hand to Trina. "I think our business here is done, don't you?" She asked.

Trina nodded and took Laura's hand.

Laura helped her to her feet and walked with her into the Grille without a backwards glance at the trash in the street.

Chris walked out side and took cuffed Lacey taking her over to the station.

JD put his hand on Buck´s shoulder giving it a tight squeeze. “We´ll find Drew. After the festival you and I will go look.”

Buck nodded oblivious to what all took place outside. “Yeah she´s in New York.”

Trina limped over to Ezra and Buck. "I'm so sorry Buck. I know you'll see her again. I feel it."

Buck nodded, “Red what´s wrong with your leg.”

Laura walked over to Trina, Ezra, and Buck. She gently patted Buck's arm, nodding in agreement to what Trina said and looked at her. "You okay?" She asked.

“Lacey got her.” Dwayne looked to them. “You all right Trina?”

"Yeah, it's fine. I promise." Trina looked to Laura. "You okay?"

Laura looked down at her knuckles and nodded, flexing them a bit. "Yeah," she said. "The little bit of pain from some bruised knuckles was definitely worth it."

Buck smiled to Karol his eyes all glassy, “you got some right hook there Mighty Mouse. Never thought you had it in ya.”

Karol smiled,"get me mad and watch out."

Buck finally laughed, “watch out for Mighty Mouse! Here she comes to save the day!”

JD grinned and patted Buck´s shoulder. “Another nick name......”

“I do believe this calls for another beer.” Buck looked to everyone.

“No more beer Buck, Mighty Mouse is putting her foot down.” Karol hugged him and smiled then walked over to Josiah.

“Aye Aye Mouse!” Buck saluted her and nearly fell over. JD helped him back into his seat.

The door to the grille opens with a smiling Vin. "Coast clear?" He said playfully as Ridley walked in behind him. Her face was red, her cheeks blazing.

"Where did you guys go? You missed it," JD said, looking proud as he glanced at Laura, Trina, and Karol.

"Had to let Wildcat here cool off," Vin said, hitching his thumb over his shoulder as he tried to fend off the pride he felt for his love.

Ridley only looked down, deeply embarrassed by her outburst. She walked straight to Buck. "I'm sorry Buck. Drew will be back. You just wait," she said with a hopeful smile as she backed away, joining Vin at the table.

“Thanks Ridley,” Buck nodded then looked to Laura. “How bad did ya hurt her? Please tell me real bad--”

Laura grinned at Buck. "You know me Buck. Ever the scrapper. Trina got some good licks in too."

“No shit? Red did?” He looked to Trina and nodded, “Drew would be proud.” He looked back down.

Trina looked to Ezra and frowned. "He should go home."

Laura patted Buck's arm again and went over to Nathan.

JD nodded and helped Buck to stand placing Buck´s arm around one of his shoulders “Come on Big guy. Time to go home.”

“It´s not a home, not anymore,” Buck mumbled.

“Buck," Trina said looking to Karol. "You can stay with us until Drew gets back, if you'd like. Right Karol?"

Karol smiled, “yeah you could we wouldn´t mind at all.”

JD was struggling to hold Buck up. “Or you can come stay at my trailer?”

Buck looked to them “Huh? What did ya say?” His head bobbed around a bit as he slurred.

Dwayne looked to them, “he has no idea where the hell he is right now.”

Buck smiled to Dwayne, “hey Dwayne.”

“See,” Dwayne shook his head.

Ezra looked to Buck, and then stated. "I like knowing you're there to protect my Trina at your residence. I'd feel more comfortable about her safety, if you were nearby."

Buck nodded, “Ezra you find my Sunshine yet?”

Ezra looked to JD. "Take him to your place for the evening." He turned to Buck. "I'm sorry Buck. Not yet. I will though. You have my word."

“She´s in New York, postmark said New York, big place though.” Buck hollered as JD walked over to the door.

JD looked to them, “could someone please help?” He looked to the door.

Ezra shrugged. He looked to Trina, who followed him.

Ezra grabbed one of Buck's arms and draped it over his shoulder.

Laura watched with Nathan, worry etched clearly on their faces.

Josiah walked over and opened the door.

“Bye ‘siah, Mouse.” Buck waved his hand.

Dwayne handed Trina a bag as she walked out. “Has a few sandwiches in it. Try and get him to eat something.” He smiled and patted her shoulder. “Oh and Scotty, you done good. Lacey deserved everything she got.” He winked then walked back over to the bar.

While JD and Ezra settled Buck into a room at JD's trailor, Trina checked out the younger man's kitchen. She shook her head. JD had a few cans of tuna and chicken, a loaf of stale bread, and some milk that was just barely this side of sour. Other than that, his cabinets seemed to be mostly filled with potato chips. Trina frowned, remembering all of the meals that JD ate at the Grille. Buck wouldn't do that. If someone didn't stick a plate of food in front of him, Buck wouldn't eat right now. And JD didn't have the food to stick in front of the man.

She decided she'd let Buck stay there tonight, but then he was going to come and stay with her and Karol until Drew came home. She was not about to have Drew come home to find out that Buck had drunk himself into oblivion.

Trina walked back into the living room and looked down the hallway. Within moments, Ezra came out and shrugged to her.

"He's going to have a hell of a headache tomorrow, but for now he's sleeping," Ezra explained.

"I think he should move in with Karol and me, until Drew gets back--"

"Trina, that might be a while. Drew might never come--"

"She *will* be back, Ezra. I know it," Trina stated with conviction, daring Ezra to deny it again.

Ezra nodded. "All right." Trina had just adopted a stray Buck. He smiled. Buck was in trouble, because Trina was going to make sure that when Drew returned, Buck was there for her.

Ezra walked Trina out to the car and opened the door for her. "So, where am I going?"

Trina looked at him curiously.

"Your place, or mine?" he asked with a smile. While Ezra had stayed with Trina almost every night for the past month, it had always been at her place. He'd practically moved in. He loved her, and loved being with her. But Ezra hated the nightmares that woke her. She was better about living her life during the day and getting out, acting like she was all right. She had even gone back to the school as soon as the bruises were gone. He was proud of her, and wasn't going to push her.

Trina looked down. "Mine. I'm sorry, I just-- I feel safer there. And I'm not being fair to you. You never get to stay at your place and I keep making you stay with me and not--"

Ezra leaned over and covered her mouth with his. Then he looked at her and smiled. "Ssh. Trina. It's okay. I love you. We'll get through this."

She nodded

"Do you want me to stay tonight?"

She looked at him. "I want to stay with you."

It was a start. Ezra took her hand and kissed it. "All right." Ezra smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too." Trina looked at him for a moment.

Ezra smiled then started the car and drove towards his town house.
