Drew squealed and hugged Trina again. "We're really going to be sisters!" The petite blond jumped up and down continuing to hug her.

She had been out of town with Buck the past few days in Phoenix. Drew reluctantly purchased some maternity clothes after she couldn't get her jeans to button.

Buck kept insisting that she was even more beautiful now with her little `pooch' of a belly but Drew longed to have her tiny waist and stomach back even though she's barely showing.

The newlyweds were wearing matching `Arizona Diamondbacks' world champion t-shirts and Buck had purchased one for the baby along with a few other newborn items. The daddy-to-be was already spoiling the unborn child and Drew was starting to get excited about the baby as well.

Buck grimaced as he watched Drew bounce around. He put his hand on Drew's arm, "Sunshine, please don't bounce around so much. Might not be good for the baby."

Drew raised her eyebrow, "well I don't see you complaining about me bouncing around when we're in bed." She walked over and hugged Ezra, "I'm so happy for you!"

"That's true sweet cheeks but you need to conserve your energy for that." Buck waggled his eyebrows while both Ezra and Drew shook their heads at him and Trina blushed.

Buck looked to Ezra. He wanted to ask him if they found out anything on the stalker while he was away. The entire time they had been in Phoenix he had put on a front but knew that Drew suspected something.

Ezra nodded then looked to Trina. "Drew probably could use something to eat."

Trina smiled and took Drew's hand. "He's right. I made some Lasagna, salad, and a cake too. Ridley is coming over for dinner. Karol will be here soon and you're welcome to eat something now."

Buck's eyes lit up "what kind of cake?"

Trina smiled, "it's vanilla with a raspberry center and chocolate icing." She led Drew out of the room and into the kitchen.

Buck hollered after them, "be sure and save me some cake! Some Lasagna too!"

Ezra motioned towards the couch. "Have a seat I'm sure you want to be filled in on things. I have to say we have no more leads then we did before. The stuffed bears were not purchased in town and it would be hard to trace exactly where they were purchased."

Buck sat down and scratched his head. "It's Julio I know it. I'm going to go have a `little' talk with him because I'm tired of my wife being threatened."

Ezra looked to him. "Please stay away from Julio. Chris had JD go over and talk with him. He didn't come up with anything. We have no proof other then he's attracted to Drew. So are a lot of other men. And you're forgetting you're a target now as well. So you must be careful."

Buck shook his head, "I can take care of myself I just want this bastard caught and out of my wife's life!" He stood up and paced.

Ezra looked to him, "would you please keep your voice down? Look Buck we all want him caught. Your phone lines have been tapped and Drew's never alone. I was thinking perhaps we could have some video equipment installed outside the apartment as well."

"A hidden camera?"

Ezra nodded.

Buck ran his hand through his hair "the bears. They still down at the station?"

"Bears? What bears?"

Buck turned to see Drew standing behind him. "Nothing Sunshine. Ezra and I were just talking is all."

Drew looked to Trina who quickly looked away then glared back to Buck. "Damn it tell me what's going on! You keep me out of town for two days after you get off the phone with Ezra. You wouldn't let me go to our apartment we had to come here first.."

Buck wrapped his arms around Drew and caressed her back, "Sunshine please. I'll explain later. I need to go down to the station for a bit. You can stay here with Ezra and Trina." He looked to Ezra for confirmation then kissed the top of her head. "It's important you stay right here and wait for me."

"I need to go over and get something from the apartment." She pushed passed him and walked over to the door.

"Drew!" Buck moved in front of her. "God damn it! Don't go outside alone!" He didn't mean to yell but things had gotten worse and he wasn't about to risk anything.

Drew stood shaking. "Buck move out of my way. If you want you may come with me. But don't make me say anything else here in front of Trina and Ezra because I promise you it'll be ugly." She looked up at him as her blue eyes filled with tears.

Buck sighed and looked to Ezra. "She'll be back in a bit. We'll go home and talk first." He took Drew's hand and led her outside then over to their apartment.

After they got home Buck knew he had to tell Drew everything. She had to realize how serious things had become. Needless to say she was more worried about him then herself and that was something he didn't want. He was going to talk to Kenin he was worried the stress might not be good for the baby and was hoping there was something he could do to help minimize it. He also hadn't talked to her or Laura much since their attack and wanted to check on them both as well.

Awhile later she was back over at Trina's having dinner with her, Ezra, Karol, and Ridley. Buck was down at the station talking with some of the other men and seeing what Julio had said to JD.

Once dinner was over the ladies all sat around the dining room table gossiping while Ezra went into the other room to watch television.

"So there will be two weddings soon," Karol smiled.

"That's right," Drew grinned. "Nathan and Laura are engaged too." She thought about Kenin and Chris and smiled hoping one day they'd be talking about their upcoming nuptials.

Ridley teased Drew, "yeah but I hope they at least let the rest of us go to the wedding."

Drew looked down, "I'm sorry."

Ridley reached over and squeezed her hand, "I'm joking. We understand."

Karol laughed, "besides we had one heck of a party at the Grille to celebrate it the weekend after you got back."

Trina nodded and smiled to Drew.

Drew bit her lip, "I suppose I should let you all know. Well Trina knows and a few others too. Buck and I are going to have a baby."

Karol stood up and hugged Drew, "well congratulations." She had suspected, for one thing Drew had started wearing loose fitting clothing and another she hadn't seen her drink in awhile. The two of them use to do shots together all the time at the Grille.

Ridley smiled and offered her congratulations as well and the women soon started talking not just weddings but babies too. The ladies all insisted that Drew stand up and show off her little `pooch' of a tummy and giggled as she pouted about getting fat.

The ladies quit laughing as a knock sounded at the door. Trina and Drew both jumped and looked to Ezra.

Ezra looked to them, "relax it's just Buck. I can hear him laughing outside the door." He walked over and opened it to find Buck, Vin, & Josiah standing there with a couple of twelve packs of beer, a thing of wine coolers, some soda and gummy bears for Drew.

"Come in, come in," Ezra smiled.

Buck grinned and walked over to Drew setting down the twelve pack he was carrying and lifting her up in a hug. "We decided to crash the party."

"I'm glad you did, I missed you," she reached up and gently pulled his face down to hers capturing his lips in a kiss.

Buck moaned softly "aw darling I missed you too." He nibbled on her lips for a few moments before stopping and hugging her again

He smiled then handed her the bag of gummy bears. "Thought you might want some of these." Drew had always liked gummy bears but had been eating them and craving them a lot more recently.

"Thank you!" She smiled and hugged him. "Guess what?"

Buck smiled as the others started talking to their gals. "What Sunshine?"

"I'm going to go to Tucson tomorrow with Trina & Karol. Might even buy some more maternity clothes."

Buck shook his head. "I'm sorry Drew but you can't go anywhere unless I'm with you. Or Ezra or Dwayne. Besides we don't have anymore money to spend on clothes at this time." He looked to her. He had already spent way too much money the past few days and was starting on the building of their new home out on their land. It was going to be a surprise for her. He had been going out on his spare time to help work on it and hired some locals as well.

Drew shrugged, "nothing will happen to me. I won't be in town. I'll be in Tucson and I'm going. Besides I can just use one of your credit cards if I see anything I like."

Buck sighed then took her hand and led her out of the room and into the kitchen. "Sunshine please don't argue with me on this. You have to remember you don't just have yourself to worry about but our baby as well. You're not going and that's final. I'm sorry."

Drew pouted, "fine." She wasn't going to argue about it with him anymore there

Buck smiled then pinned her small frame to the counter. "Smile Sunshine, please? You know I hate that it has to be this way, right?"

Drew nodded then hugged him. "I know.."

The rest of the night went smoothly, Buck seemed more relaxed and the others content on making sure neither Buck or Drew had to face things alone. The couples played some charades and then some poker at Ezra's insistence.

The next afternoon Buck sat at his desk at the station after going home to check his mail. Chris and JD were in the office as well. Buck had gone by and spoke to Kenin earlier that morning and she told him to try and keep Drew as stress-free as possible but not to worry that she and the baby appeared to be doing fine. Drew had an ultrasound scheduled in Tucson the following week and she told Buck they might even be able to determine the sex of the fetus but gave him no guarantees.

JD looked over as Buck lifted a large envelope addressed to himself.

Buck frowned and opened it and pulled out several photograph's and a note. He read the note aloud as Chris and JD walked over to his desk. "You think you've won? That she's yours? She will always be mine. I'm always watching. Are you?"

Chris took the note away from Buck as his hands started to shake and paled as Buck lifted a photo of him with Drew.

Buck glared to Chris. The photo was taken at the mall and it showed Chris swatting Drew's bottom.

"Buck let me explain," Chris looked to him not moving as Buck stood up and glared down at him.

JD tried to move between them but Buck gently showed him back.

Buck pointed his finger hitting Chris's chest, "when? And why the fuck is your hand on her ass?!" He could hardly control his anger he knew there were more important things to discuss but to see this made his blood boil.

Chris glared right back at him, "sit down and let me explain." He backed up as Buck shoved him. "One more time Buck and you'll regret it. You know damn well that I don't think of Drew in that way. It was a joke, plain and simple, a joke. I would never think of your wife in that way."

"Fuck you! How the hell would you feel if you saw a picture of me with my hand on Kenin's ass? Huh?! Joke or not you had no business man, no business at all." Buck kicked his desk and swore a few more times.

JD moved over and lifted some more of the photos "where was this taken Chris? There are a bunch here; a few of Drew with Trina, one of her outside the Grille talking to Alley, and another of her standing with Buck, Laura, and Nathan outside the Frosty Queen." He looked at another. "This one is outside the Grille a few weeks ago I remember this Buck was giving Drew a piggy back ride, Ezra is in it and Trina too."

Buck looked at the photos as Chris explained about the shopping trip and what took place. He nodded to Chris, "all right. Let's talk about this now. This person has been following her around for months." He paled as he saw a photo of him and Drew at the pool in a compromising position. One that was taken well after midnight when they had thought no one else had been around.

Chris looked to Buck. "Where's Drew now?"

"She's at the Grille with Dwayne. She had to work today. I think Rafe was over there too earlier." Buck's voice was stern, "she knows not to leave or go anyplace alone." He looked back to Chris "we've got to catch this person. I mean how can we not figure out who it is? He always seems to be near." Buck stood up.

Chris nodded "JD and I will look this over check for prints run a check on the postmark. You go check on Drew."

Buck nodded "thanks." He walked over to the door and reached down and placed his hand on his gun. "I'm going to kill him."

JD looked to Buck, "I don't blame you but don't do anything crazy. We'll find him. All right?"

Chris looked over, "watch your back pard this guy is after you too."

Buck shook his head "yeah well I'm ready for him." He left the building and made his way across the street to the Grille.

Chris looked to JD. "I want you to go get Julio. He's wanted for more questioning."

"What?" JD looked confused.

"I just remembered we saw him and his pals at the mall that day I was there with Drew. I think we might have our man."

JD grabbed the keys to his squad car and headed towards the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Buck sighed as he saw the Black Lexus parked outside the Grille. He walked inside to find his wife in tears sitting at a booth with her mother.
Drew didn't even see Buck walk in. Her mother, who she hadn't seen in months, had been telling her yet again how much of a disappointment she was and how she had not only ruined her own life but her mother's as well.
Drew blinked and wiped a tear that had started to run down her cheek, "but I love him mother. He's my husband. I'm not going to leave him. We're going to have a baby."
Buck stood behind Maude not saying a word or making his presence known. Drew hadn't looked up so she didn't see him either.
It took all Maude's strength not to reach out and strangle her own daughter. `How naive is she?' She thought. Maude took Drew's hand realizing she had to gain her daughter's trust. "Drew, you're my baby girl and I love you."
Drew looked to her mother; baby girl was a pet name Maude called her from time to time. "I love you too mother. And I love Buck." She saw Buck standing and almost said something but he shushed her and still stood behind Maude.
Maude looked into her daughter's eyes. "Buck Wilmington is a scoundrel my dear. He will leave you as soon as the next pretty girl comes along." She smiled sweetly, "dear sweet baby girl you can not have this child. You're still a baby yourself how do you think you're going to raise it? You have your entire life ahead of you. Divorces are simple. Leave with me and I'll find you a doctor to get rid of that unwanted child and then we will find you a good lawyer."
Drew was stunned; her mother wanted her to have an abortion. "Mother I love my baby I can't get rid of it. I love Buck too you're not listening to me."
Maude shook her head again. "Drew now stop your whining and be reasonable here. I will not allow you to have this child and stay married to that, that.."
"That what?" Buck moved to the table and glared down at Maude. "Hello." He looked to Drew, "Sunshine, come on. It's time to go home."
Maude stood up, "my daughter is going no place with you. I should of came and got her sooner. But I had no idea you'd stoop so low as to seduce a child."
"I'm not a child; I'm twenty-one years old." Drew protested.
Buck placed his hand on Drew's shoulder, "Sunshine go on over to the bar and wait with Dwayne. I'm gonna have a little talk with your mother." He wanted to reach out and smack Maude but knew that Drew didn't need to see that now. She was supposed to be stress-free.
Maude took Drew's arm and tried to ignore Buck "Drew listen to your mother...."
"Get your hands off my wife!" Buck had finally lost it. He gently pushed Drew behind him. "Just who the hell do you think you are!? And don't say her mother you haven't been a fucking mother to her ever. So try another line lady."
Dwayne walked over as he saw Drew crying and looked from Maude to Buck. "Might be a good idea to take this argument elsewhere."
Maude glared at Buck, for a moment and looked to Dwayne. "In case you're forgetting I own this establishment and if my daughter refuses to leave this sorry excuse for a husband then I'm going to have to demand that you fire her."
Dwayne scratched his head, "demand I fire her? Your daughter?" He shook his head and took Drew's arm. "Ma'am I'm not going to fire her. If you want to then you'll have to do it yourself." He led Drew away so Buck could speak to Maude.
Buck pointed to Maude, "if I hear of you trying to talk her into getting rid of our child again you'll be sorry."
"Is that a threat?" Maude laughed, "you have no idea who you're dealing with. You think I'm going to allow my daughter to ruin her life by having your child and staying is this godforsaken town? I don't think so. She deserves so much better."
Buck started to follow Maude as she turned to leave the Grille but stopped as he saw Drew watching then walked over taking her into his arms. "Sunshine, I'm sorry you had to hear that."
Drew looked down, "I'm going to be a terrible mother." She pushed passed him and walked outside.
Buck followed and counted to ten before he spoke. He caught up to Drew and touched her arm. "Sunshine, please don't do that. You can't get upset and run off not now." He pulled her to him and let her cry into his chest. He quietly led her over to the car then paled as he saw a rose sitting on the passenger side window with a note stuck to it. He hadn't noticed it when he walked into the Grille and he drew his gun and held Drew to him. "Fuck!"
Drew saw the flower and before she knew it she was sitting over at the station while Buck, Ezra, & JD patrolled the area seeing of anyone saw or heard anything. The note had simply said `another token of my affection.'
Chris had questioned and released Julio once it was determined he could not have left the flower but they still weren't convinced that he might not be in on it and were leaning closer to this being more than just one man.
Drew waited for what had seemed a few hours before Buck had returned. She had fallen asleep in Chris's office and woke up momentarily as Buck lifted her up. "Find anything?" She mumbled.
"No Sunshine we didn't." Buck held her closer and cuddled her to him then he left the station and carried her out to the car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Later that evening Maude drove over to Ezra's. She was furious with him for allowing Drew to become involved with that-with that-with that absolutely uncouth person. He must have done it because she'd found someone else to manage the Grille. But this was going too far.

She pulled up to Ezra's townhouse and strode up to it. She pulled out her key and walked right in. Only to find her son in a rather compromising position with a red-haired slut! "Ezra Percival Standish!"

Ezra jumped, the woman shrank beside him. He put his arm around her as he recovered. "Mother. So glad you could join us. I wonder, have you ever heard of a doorbell?"

"A mother should not require such a device to enter her child's home. And you should be conducting yourself in a manner befitting a gentleman."

"I was being a gentleman, Mother," Ezra spoke, a hint of anger in his voice. "I was also in my own home. You seem to forget you are an uninvited intruder here."

Maude merely glossed over his comment and looked to the woman. "Aren't you going to tell this trollop to leave?"

"She is my fiancée. And I will not tolerate you speaking of her as such."

The red haired trollop was clearly bristling at Maude's words. This was good. She had no business with her son.

"Mother, allow me to introduce you to my fiancée, Catriona MacKinnon." He leaned over and kissed Catriona on the cheek. She smiled to him as he whispered something in her ear.

"Mrs. Standish. I am pleased to meet you."

"Ezra, how dare you?"

"How dare I what?"

"First you allow Drew to associate herself with a known lothario, now you' re engaged to a foreigner. At least tell me that she has money."

Catriona narrowed her eyes at her and glared, but Maude didn't care. This girl was nothing. Maude looked to her. "Rest assured, you won't be marrying my son."

Ezra tightened his grip on the girl and said loudly enough that Maude could hear. "Pay her no mind." Then he looked to Maude. "What brings you, Mother?"

"Your sister. You know that man-"

"He loves her, Mother. And is there for her. Which is more than I can say for you."

"You will assist me in extricating Drew from this undesirable relationship."

"I most certainly will not."

"Ezra, you will regret this defiance."

"Somehow I doubt that, Mother. Now, I suggest you leave."

Maude nodded once then looked over to Catriona. "I suggest you leave my son alone."

"And if I don't?"

Maude smiled at the girl's spunk. "Then you will regret not heeding my advice."

Catriona ran out of the room, and Maude was sure she was hiding something. Ezra glared at her. "Leave your key, Mother."

Maude shrugged and took out his key, placing it on a stand by the door. "This isn't over, Ezra. Not by far."
