Buck forced a smile as Drew signed the lease to the four-bedroom apartment she and Trina would share. Earlier that morning they had gone back to Ezra's. Ezra had been fuming that Drew had stayed all night at Buck's. Little did he know she had been spending most of her nights there. After a huge blowout that left Ezra and Drew fighting over the DVD player, Trina and Buck literally had to pull the two apart, Buck had promised to purchase Drew a new one. Ezra allowed Drew to keep the DVDs since most of them were movies that interested her anyways. He had no desire to watch 'Dude Where's My Car or 'Coyote Ugly.'

After Ezra and Drew calmed she went upstairs to pack her things. Trina had explained to her that she could not live with Ezra alone. Drew couldn't let Trina go off on her own so they settled for an apartment at the Oasis. The only one available was a four bedroom that Trina insisted she could afford.

Buck had been disappointed he really did want Drew to live with him but realized she would be at his place most of the time anyway they just lived across the walkway from each other.

Drew walked over and hugged Buck not caring that her brother was within ear shot "hey I'll be closer then at Ezra's."

Buck smiled and held her "yeah you will be." He wanted to tell her he was serious about their relationship, he could see a future for them, and was hoping that living together would help with Drew's inability to trust. He couldn't blame her for thinking everyone she loved would leave her when she had been left so many times by her very own mother.

Ezra watched Drew and looked down. For the first time in years he hadn't been living alone. He felt like he had the family life he had always yearned for as a child. 'Didn't she realize that this was what he always wanted? To live like a family?' Something Maude had never given them. Now Trina was going as well and he was most disappointed to see her go. He was use to Drew going off to school but Trina had found her way into his heart and he would miss her terribly.

Trina took Ezra's hand and led him towards her and Drew's new home "we have to purchase furniture."

Buck and Drew followed. "It's still early we can drive to Tucson. Drew's off today and I'm not on patrol until this evening. What about you Ezra?"

Ezra nodded "I have the day off as well. I suppose we could drive over."

Trina smiled as Drew bounced and clapped her hands "yes! We're going shopping!"

Ezra and Buck laughed and followed the ladies inside to take an inventory on what was important for them to get right now.

Three hours later the four stood in a furniture store in Tucson. Trina had picked out a lavish bedroom set complete with a king-sized bed, two dressers, and a nightstand.

Drew just shrugged and said she'd sleep on an air mattress. She didn't see the sense in buying a bedroom set or a bed that she would seldom sleep in. Trina said she would buy a bedroom set for Drew, a queen-sized bed with a dresser and nightstand. Drew's room had the largest walk-in closet, which was practical since the girl owned more clothes then anyone in town. Trina's room was larger she opted for moving around space. Ezra and Buck had no idea how she was going to pay for it either but Trina insisted she could.

After taking care of the bedrooms the four made there way down to the living room sets.

Ezra and Drew watched as Buck looked at leather couch and Trina looked at a frilly one. Both insisting their choice was perfect. Drew laughed and threw up her arms "okay why don't we try something practical?"

"Good idea sister dear" Ezra smiled then rolled his eyes.

Trina and Buck watched as Drew looked around "how about this one? She pointed to a cream colored couch with matching loveseat. "We could put different colored pillows on it and if we decide to paint the living room a different color this would still match." She sat down "its quite comfortable too."

Trina walked over and sat down "I like it. You have such an eye for things Drew."

Buck puffed up "course she does; she's with me isn't she?"

Trina looked at Buck and gave him a mischievous grin. She picked up one of the pillows and threw it at him hitting him upside the head.

"Hey!" Buck laughed and threw the pillow back at her. "We can't take you anywhere can we girl?!"

Ezra walked over between them while Drew giggled. He held up his hands "now." He jumped as he was hit upside the head with a pillow then looked to Trina as she shrank back a bit and smiled.

Buck laughed, "Nice shot Trina!"

Ezra glared at Buck then lifted the pillow "children?" He winked to Trina "perhaps we should tell the nice salesperson, who's frowning over at us at this very minute, that we would love to purchase this fine couch today?"

Buck sat down between Drew and Trina "go on Ezra we'll wait right here." He placed his arms behind them both "you're right this couch is comfy." He grinned then tickled Drew who let out a high pitched squeal causing Trina to hold her ears and laugh.

After their trip to the furniture store they decided to go to the mall and get some other supplies for the house. The ended up in Macy's. Ezra purchased Drew and Trina a microwave knowing fully well it was the only kitchen appliance, other then a blender, his sister knew how to use.

Drew bought some throw pillows for the couch and some decorative candles. She wanted to buy more but her funds were starting to dwindle now that she wasn't using credit cards.

Trina purchased some corning ware, some revereware pots and pans, and a few other things.

Afterwards Ezra and Trina decided to leave having drove up separately. Ezra figured Drew would want to eat dinner at McDonalds and he wanted to treat Trina to a finer restaurant.

Buck and Drew stayed at the mall and hung out for awhile. Drew giggled as Buck smiled and led her out of Media Play "where we going?" He had purchased her a brand new DVD player, even nicer then the one she had at Ezra's. He also got her the new 'Sum 41' CD and she purchased another for the Grille. The Grille had a lot of good music on the jukebox but not much new stuff.

Buck waggled his eyebrows "oh I thought we could get some things for our own entertainment." He led her over to the 'Fredrick's of Hollywood' store.

Drew smiled and looked around. The sales women looked to Drew and Buck and smiled. Drew browsed looking at lingerie and glanced over at the women who were still looking at Buck "know them?"

Buck looked over then back at the lingerie "no can't say as though I do. Must be admiring my good looks." He winked to Drew.

Drew laughed "what do you think about this?" She held up a pink lace teddy.

Buck bit his lip "oh I think that would look real nice darlin. Why don't you go try it on?" He motioned back to the dressing area.

"Okay" Drew smiled and made her way back.

A few minutes later she looked in the mirror and smiled. The pink lace teddy fit perfectly and she knew Buck would love it. She jumped, as there was a soft knock at her dressing room door. "Um yes?"

"Sunshine open the door" Buck whispered.

Drew opened it and looked out "Buck you can't come back here this is a ladies dressing room." She scolded as he gently pushed her back coming into the room and shutting the door.

Buck pinned Drew to the wall "no one's going to say anything babe." He looked her over "damn you're sexy." He leaned down and started to kiss her running his hand over her backside.

Ten minutes later they walked out of the dressing room. Buck looked to Drew and laughed "quit blushing Sunshine. I'm sure were not the first people to do it in the dressing room." He squeezed her to him and smiled to the sales woman. "We'll take this." He handed her the teddy. "See anything else you like Sunshine?"

Drew was very embarrassed but would never turn down an offer to purchase more clothes. So she walked over and picked out some panties and handed them to Buck.

Buck paid for the purchases and they left the store.

"They're still starring at us." Drew looked back then up at him and winked "you know that was kind of fun, kinky but fun."

"Well, sexy, there's a lot more stores in this mall." He laughed as her eyes widened "okay maybe another time. You hungry? I'm starved."

"I could eat something."

Buck laughed "then let's go get you something to eat. You're hungry I'm gonna feed ya."

They walked outside and over to his Trans Am. He opened the passenger door for her and she climbed in. He went around and got in on the driver's side.

"Where too?"

Drew moved closer to him and took his hand "how about that blues club we went to with Chris, Nathan, Kenin, & Laura? B Street Blues."

"Sounds good to me Sunshine."

Later that day Trina and Drew looked around their apartment. "We still need a lot of things," Trina commented. "We need a dining room table, a china cabinet..."

Ezra laughed and placed his arm around Trina "my dear you need to pay the purchases off you got today first."

Drew nodded in agreement "yeah you don't want to get in trouble like I did. We're just lucky they were able to deliver the furniture today. Besides Buck gave us this card table to use until we do get one."

Trina frowned at the card table standing in her dining room then shrugged "well I guess I could cook us some snacks. Ezra and I stopped off at the store on the way home from Tucson."

Drew laughed "let's just have some popcorn and watch some movies." She watched as Trina's face fell. "You know you can cook tomorrow? It's already getting late."

"I know but I..."

Ezra smiled and led her towards the kitchen "if you wish to prepare something then by all means do so."

Drew rolled her eyes and looked to the clock "Buck won't be off for a few more hours. I just hope Ezra's gone by then."

After Ezra left Drew and Trina sat in front of the television. It was the one that had been in Drew's room at Ezra's. Both though decided to purchase a bigger one soon.

Trina had made some mini egg rolls and Drew made up a pitcher of Strawberry margaritas.

Drew took a bite "these are really good Trina!"

"Thank you," Trina smiled. "We going to watch Pretty Woman? I've been wanting to see it ever since I met you on the plane here."

Drew stood up "yep. I ran over to Buck's and got it while you were cooking. I had my copy over at his place."

She walked over and put the video into the VCR. Both women's mouths dropped as two naked women appeared on screen. "This isn't Pretty Woman," Drew shook her head.

Trina stood up and stopped the video. She ejected it and looked at it "um Drew this says Pretty Women not Pretty Woman."

Drew took the video "ah hell. That'll teach me to grab one without the cover. This is one of Buck's dirty movies." She laughed as Trina's eyes widened "oh come on tell me you've seen an x-rated video before?"

Trina shook her head.

"Well if I want to watch porn Pretty Women isn't it." Drew set the video down. "We can watch Coyote Ugly! You'll like that one and I have it on DVD too."

Once the movie was placed in the girls settled and got comfortable only to hear a knock at the door.

"I'll get it" Drew hopped up and went over to answer it. She opened the door but no one was there. She stuck her head out "hello?"

Trina walked up behind her "Drew come inside."

Drew shrugged and shut the door and saw the look of fear on Trina's face. "Oh come on it's probably just some kids running around."

"I just got a really bad feeling. Please lock the door."

Drew walked over and locked the door as someone knocked softly on the window.

Trina screamed and fell to the floor while Drew walked over to the window to look out. Seeing no one she went to her purse and grabbed her pepper spray then turned on the outside light. She opened the door "all right funs over leave us alone!"

Trina got up and pulled Drew back "stay inside! We have to call the police!" She slammed the door shut and locked it looking to Drew "I got a bad feeling please trust me."

Drew took Trina's hand and led her away from the door as someone knocked again.

"Who's there?" Drew screamed and held onto Trina's hand. She looked to Trina who was trembling "I'm sure it's just kids but I'm going to call Buck okay?" She smiled as Trina nodded "he's on patrol anyway."

Ten minutes later Josiah and Buck were looking around outside the apartment. Buck came inside carrying some flowers. "We don't see anything. Josiah's going to talk with a few of the neighbors too see if they heard anything. He walked over and hugged Drew holding her close.

Trina sat on the couch with her legs curled up underneath her. Fili sat on her lap and Ezra was seated next to her. He had arrived shortly after Buck and Josiah.

Drew smiled to Buck "you got me flowers?"

Buck looked to Ezra then Drew "No I didn't Sunshine. These were left outside your door. There's a card with your name on it."

He watched as Drew opened the card. "Well?"

Drew's hand shook "it says, don't be scared. I only want to get close to you. There's no signature."

Buck took the card. "Okay I really don't like this person. Sunshine I don't want you going anyplace alone. I'm going to have this looked at and go to Mom and Pops grocery tomorrow and see if they remember anyone purchasing a dozen red roses today."

Drew rolled her eyes "it's probably some kid Buck I don't think this is that serious."

Trina shook her head and cuddled Fili to her "no Drew this is very serious. I'm getting some really bad feelings here." She couldn't explain to them how or why she got these kind of feelings but she did.

Ezra decided to spend the night on the couch and Josiah and Buck left to go back out on patrol. Josiah didn't find anything out by questioning the neighbors. But both men were going to look around the area a bit. It was after curfew anyway if any kids were out they would have reason to pull them over any ways.

The next day while Drew was at work. Buck drove out to The Fitzpatrick Ranch. Laura's mother had a Egyptian Mau that just had kittens that she was selling. He wanted to get Drew the best kitty he could.

He went for a short ride on Beauty then Laura took him inside to pick out a kitten for Drew. He chose a bronze colored one, he just knew Drew would love it. Laura's mother would not accept money for the kitten even though he had tried to pay for it

Laura smiled to Buck as she walked him over to his truck. "You have all the supplies for the kitten?"

"Yeah I ran up to Ajo before I drove over here. I think I got everything." He looked to her "I wish your mother would have let me pay for this. I know she's selling them."

Laura smiled and touched his arm "she likes you Buck. She wanted you to have it so you could give it to your girlfriend. Who by the way she wants you to bring out. I thought you were going to take Drew riding one day?"

Buck smiled "I am just been real busy and she was working today. How are things with Nathan?"

Laura raised her eyebrow "don't change the subject on me mister." She shook her finger and laughed "you know damn well if there was something to tell I wouldn't tell you anyway." She teased.

Buck pretended to be hurt then winked "well okay then. How about you? You okay? We were worried about you the other night. I'm glad Nate was here for ya."

Laura nodded and smiled as the kitten climbed up on Buck's shoulder "I'll be okay. You know me."

"Yeah I do" He smiled then kissed her cheek "so you call me if you need anything." He lifted the kitten off his shoulder "well I best take this little rascal home so I can surprise Drew. You take care Laura."

"You too Buck" she waved as he got into his truck and drove off.

Buck drove to the Grille. Drew was waiting for him outside as he pulled up. He frowned when he saw Julio and one of his friends walk away.

Drew walked over to the truck and smiled "hey Buck!" She hopped in not even noticing the kitten in the animal carrier on the floor. "Something wrong?" She looked to him as he starred at her.

"What did they want?" He looked back to Julio and the other kid.

"Just to talk I guess? Why? I saw you drive into town and they followed me outside so I talked with them for a minute. No biggie."

"No biggie" Buck shook his head "you forgetting what happened last night?" He was worried about Drew and she was acting as though nothing happened. He drove towards the apartment complex.

Drew looked down as she heard a soft meow. "You got me a kitty?" Her eyes widened and she looked to him as they parked.

"Yes I did. An even better one then Trina's too." Buck beamed.

Drew bit her lip as she got out of the car. "I have a surprise for you too. At your apartment. "

Buck looked to her and grinned as he carried the new kitten towards his apartment "Oh I do love surprises especially yours." He playfully swatted her behind with his free hand.

Drew giggled and unlocked the door. The two went inside. Buck's eyes widened as another kitten walked over to them "surprise?" Drew bit her lip "I went over on my lunch break and talked to Karol. You said I could have a kitty and I already had him picked out."

Buck sat the carrier down and took out the other kitten "well darlin can you take that one back? This here is a pure bred Egyptian Mau." He held it up for her to see. He watched as she looked form one kitten to the other obviously torn and already attached to the one she had picked out.

She took the other out of his arms and cuddled it.

The kitten looked up to her and purred.

"Laura's mom breeds them so I went over there today to get you one. Isn't she beautiful?" He walked over and scratched the Egyptian Mau's head causing her to purr again.

Drew nodded. She couldn't give either back she was attached to both now. All she had to do was hold them. "Laura gave it to you?" She still wondered about Buck and Laura's friendship.

"Well her mother did." Buck smiled to Drew.

"Can't we keep them both?" She looked to him as he gave her a look. "Well I had the other over at my apartment and he kind of scared Fili."

Buck laughed "what did he do whip up on Trina's kitty?"

Drew nodded "yeah sorta of and I didn't want to have him fight with hers seeing as though Fili reminds her of the one she had as a child."

"So you brought him over here?" He smiled as Drew nodded again then hugged her as the two kittens purred by their feet "well looks like we got ourselves two kittens." He shook his head "and what are you going to name the duo.

Drew thought for a moment and laughed "what about Ding and Bat? Get it Dingbat?"

Buck laughed and lifted her up "who you calling Dingbat?" He hugged her and held her close.

Drew held onto him and smiled, "I missed you today."

"I missed you too Sunshine a whole lot." He smiled "I love you so much."

"I love you too Buck."
