Drew looked at the boxes in her room then threw her hair dryer against the wall. She had just got out of the shower and was looking through her things only to realize half of them were gone. Not to mention knowing Buck was trying to make a play for Trina now cut through her like a knife. She had been warned. Trina told her not to worry she trusted her but realized she could not trust Buck.

"Sunshine?" Buck opened the door and walked right on into her room.

Drew stood wearing nothing but a towel her hair still dripping down her back. "Don't you knock? Get out of here!" She screamed at him grabbing her pillow up and holding it to her.

Buck leaned on the doorframe and waggled his eyebrows "well you see I heard something crash darling and I was worried." His gaze roamed over her. She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. He smiled with appreciation licking his lips.

"Well I'm fine Buck so leave, please? Now....." Drew glared at him and realized he wasn't going to move. "Damn!" She grabbed her tank top and shorts and pushed past him. As she did he grabbed her arm pulling her gently back to him.

"Is something wrong?" He wrapped his arms around her.

"Yeah Buck there is." She roughly pushed away from him "my brother not only sold my fucking car but half my things as well. Now before I leave this hellhole I have to buy a new one. And I am leaving. Once my probation is done I'm out of here, adios Four Corners and back to LA."

Buck shook his head "you're pissed about today right? Jealous?"

"No Buck I'm not anymore because it doesn't matter, okay?" She walked past him to the bathroom locking the door behind her.

Buck sighed and walked downstairs. He went into the kitchen and grabbed one of Ezra's imported beers. After searching for the bottle opener for a few minutes the phone rang.

Assuming Drew was still upstairs he lifted the receiver and answered it. "Hello."

"Is Drew around?" The voice on the other end of the line asked.

Buck smiled "Alley that you?"

Drew stood watching Buck before Alley could answer she snagged the phone out of his hands "Alley you want to speak with me or Buck?"

Alley could sense the hostility in Drew's voice "umm Drew everything okay?"

Drew turned her back on Buck and headed to the living room and told Alley all about Ezra selling her things. She was still talking when Alley cut her off.

"Hold up girl. Why don't you come over to the Grille for awhile. Plenty of us here. Rafe was wondering where you were and wanted to challenge you to a game of darts."

Buck wandered into the living room and took a seat next to Drew.

"Rafe's there?" Drew grinned "Tell him I'm on my way. See you soon Alley."

Buck set his beer down "Drew we need to talk."

Drew stood up "I just told Alley I would meet her and Rafe at the Grille. Besides you had a long day you must be tired."

Buck sighed and pulled her back down to his lap "Damn it Sunshine please trust me."

Drew turned away but he pulled her face to him "I can't Buck okay? It's not you it's me and I'm sorry. I thought I could but I can't."

Her words cut through him like a knife. He couldn't tell her the real reason he was with Trina he wanted so much to surprise her for her birthday. She had told him the other day that her mother had not once ever had a birthday party for her even though her birthday fell close to Ezra's. Buck had heard a lot about Maude from Drew and that was one woman he wished he could smack. Even so this surprise was important to Trina too so he had to keep it. "Trina's my friend too Drew."

"Fine she's your friend" she tried to get up but he kept his arms wrapped around her tight "would you let go?"

"No" he grinned then nuzzled her neck tickling her with his mustache. Buck breathed in he loved the smell of her it was true she was pure sunshine it made his senses crazy never had he wanted a woman this much or waited so long to be with one.

Drew started to laugh as his hand reached up under her tank top. "Buck please stop" she murmured.

He ignored her protests and captured her lips with his. She quit struggling and sighed returning the kiss letting his hands explore her. She hated how her body responded to him as much as she wanted to pull away when she got upset with him she couldn't one touch and she melted.

Buck smiled then put his hand under her chin "you've got to trust me Sunshine. I know you didn't mean all those things you said earlier but they did hurt."

Drew shrugged "all right maybe this isn't a hellhole and I do have friends. But it's not the place for me."

Buck set her next to him and stood up "why do you keep saying that? How do you know what's best for you? Hell you have people here that care about you and give a damn but you're willing to throw all of that away?"

Drew sat for a moment then stood up and looked to Buck "I don't know what I want. I'm confused." She waved him off as he tried to grab her arm "Saturday is my birthday. I decided that I cared enough about you that I was going to...."

Buck placed his hands on her shoulders "going to what?"

"I was going to sleep with you okay. But it's not right. I'm going to leave and I can't trust you. I wanted my first time to be perfect. It wouldn't be now because I'm hurt." This time she waved him off. "Look your you Buck and I'm me and neither of us can change who we are. I can't change my inability to trust and that wouldn't be fair to you." Her eyes filled with tears and she went over by the door "now I want to go to the Grille and try to forget about this because it hurts way too much."

Drew grabbed her purse then walked outside and realized Buck was following her. She walked back past him and locked the door.

"I'll give you a ride." He watched as she walked past the truck. "Sunshine? What are you doing?"

She called back over her shoulder "what's it look like? I'm walking." She walked down the driveway and to the road.

Buck cursed under his breath and marched down to the road grabbing Drew from behind he tossed her over his shoulder.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

Buck opened the door to his truck and tossed Drew in "throwing your stubborn ass in my truck that's what!" He slammed the door and walked around to the other side "don't you EVEN think about getting out of this truck."

Drew just looked at him saying nothing as he got in and started the truck. She sighed and put on her seatbelt.

They drove to the Grille in silence once they got there Drew hopped out and made her way inside not even waiting for Buck to follow.

Once inside she made her way over to Alley who stood at the bar talking with Rafe and Dwayne.

Dwayne winked to Drew "just two more days huh?"

"Unfortunately yes." Drew took a seat on a barstool next to Rafe.

Rafe raised his eyebrow and looked over as Buck entered the Grille "unfortunately?"

"Yeah I could really use a drink" She gave Dwayne a puppy dog look.

"Not a chance Squirt." Dwayne laughed "now Saturday I'll even buy you a few but tonight no dice."

Alley placed her hand on Drew's shoulder "Ezra selling your stuff really got you this upset? Or did something happen with Buck?" She glanced over and saw Buck had joined Trina at a table then noticed Drew frown.

"Where's Ezra?"

Dwayne answered Drew first "he had to run over to the station to find out his schedule. Should be back soon." He set a diet coke in front of her.

The next half-hour Drew spent talking and playing darts with Dwayne, Alley, and Rafe. Tomorrow was her last day at the park she was going to miss Alley but Dwayne offered her a job at the Grille, waiting tables and helping bartend sometimes. She was going to start Monday. She was laughing at something Rafe said when they all got silent. Drew turned to see Trina had joined them and was looking as though she was about ready to cry.

"Drew we need to talk." She took her friends arm and led her away from the crowd and into the ladies room.

"What's wrong Trina?" Drew was worried she had never seen Trina this upset.

"Do not push Buck away please. Drew he loves you. I know this and you know it too. Don't you trust me? Nothing happened today had I known you were going to take it this way I would have never asked him to take me. But truthfully I wanted him to take me to Tucson so I could get you a birthday present. That's all." Trina was crying now. " Buck is hurting and he's a good man."

Drew hugged Trina "please don't cry. Please. I explained everything to Buck already. Trina I'm leaving as soon as my probation is up. I'll die if I have to stay here any longer."

Trina backed away "Buck is your destiny." She shook her head as Drew sighed "do not ask me how I know but I do. And Drew you will die if you leave here maybe not physically but inside. Buck is the one for you your future. I would never lie to you. You're my best friend."

Drew was crying now "I never had a best friend before." They hugged again then wiped their eyes.

"Ezra is probably outside the door pacing. You need to set things right. He's all upset now thinking Buck has hurt you and I feel responsible for this."

Drew nodded then took Trina's hand "let's go back out. I can't make any promises only thing I can assure you is that you are my best friend and I do trust you." She kept a hold of Trina's hand as they made their way out of the ladies room.

One of the drunks at the bar laughed when he saw the two women emerge hand in hand "next time can I watch?"

Trina and Drew looked over as Ezra glared to the man "excuse me sir?"

The drunk just laughed and looked to Drew and Trina "better yet why don't you gals let me join you? I can show you a real good time." He winked to Drew "you a natural blond honey? Got that golden hair everywhere?" Todd Rawlings was a local he had a younger brother Kyle who had been in and out of trouble too.

"That's it!" Buck grabbed Todd by his collar "apologize or your face meets my fist." He held him up by his shirt.

Ezra stood protectively by Drew and Trina. Alley came over and stood with her hands on her hips "Buck that trash isn't worth it. Dwayne here will toss him out on his ass."

"I didn't do anything wrong" Todd replied.

"You looked at MY girlfriend and said some insulting things." Buck pushed him up against the bar hard "and if I ever see you glance in her direction again.."

Dwayne tapped Buck's shoulder and he released his hold. Dwayne took the man's arm and led him over to the door "okay Todd you had enough to drink tonight walk it off and head home." He tossed the man out the door then came back inside.

Buck walked over by Drew "you okay Sunshine?"

Drew nodded "yeah he didn't touch us just asked."

Buck pulled Drew to him "can we go someplace and talk? Please?"

Drew looked to Ezra "why the hell did you sell my car?!"

"How did you expect me to get the vehicle here, Drew? I drove to LA. I could not drive two cars back. And I was most certainly not going to pay to have your vehicle placed in storage for six months. . .in case you've forgotten, I have a $10,000 credit card to pay off."

Drew glared at Ezra then waved Buck away "for your information Dwayne offered me a job Ezra, here. I start Monday I'm also going to teach Rafe's nephew swimming lessons as well. Bet you didn't know that did ya? Your dumb little sister managed to get some kind of degree at school. I was even a lifeguard and was suppose to report back but I was stuck here and there's no damn water for me to guard here so I can't utilize the one thing I do have. I'm sorry but you should have asked and I planned on paying you back."

Buck put his arm around Drew and steered her towards the door "Sunshine why don't we go have that talk you can talk this over with Ezra later?"

Drew grabbed onto the doorframe and screamed as Buck tossed her over his shoulder again "damn it I was talking! Put me down! Okay this is totally unfair!"

Buck set Drew down outside the Grille "don't run or go back in. We need to talk okay?" He grinned as she put her hands on her hips "lifeguard 'eh? Like on Baywatch?"

"Yes like on Baywatch. So talk."

Buck frowned "and you told Rafe this and not me?"

Drew rolled her eyes "yeah big deal here at the Grille. Wasn't like I took off with him to Tucson or anything. But you know sounds like fun maybe I'll ask him."

Buck sighed and led Drew over to his truck. Once inside he looked to her "nothing happened with Trina. You need to trust me."

Drew shrugged "Buck I already told you." Before she could say anymore he leaned over and kissed her again running his hands over her body. Soon the windshield was steamed up.

After a few more minutes Buck broke off the kiss and smiled "let's go back to my place and talk. Okay?" He wanted to do more then just talk. The gal was in his blood and he was not about take another cold shower. He wanted her and wanted to show her how much he loved her.

"Just take me home Buck please." Drew fought tears and Buck drove her home. He said nothing as he pulled the truck to a stop.

Drew turned to him "I know we keep saying this or I do. But maybe it's best if we just are friends?"

Buck shook his head "I don't want to be your friend Drew. I love you." He looked to her then pulled her over to him "I don't want Trina. I want you. I'm not attracted to Trina the way I'm attracted to you. All I did was take her so she could get you a birthday present. And you want to throw this away because of that?"

Drew fought tears "you love me? You can't love me. You can't."

"Sorry Sunshine but I do and I think it's time you let me show you just how much.." He started the engine of his truck again and pulled out of Ezra's driveway. He kept Drew pulled over to him and held her close. "I love you Sunshine."

Drew looked to him after he pulled into the parking lot of his apartment complex "I love you too but..."

"But what? Why does it have to be so complicated Drew? Why can't I love you and you love me?"

"Because I don't know what this means Buck. Are we? What are we?" She gave him a confused look.

Buck grinned "yes Drew we are. I don't want anyone else and I'm not going to see anyone else but you. Is that what you mean? You and I are together and damn it I'm not going to let you screw that up." He opened the door, got out, and lifted her into his arms "ONLY thing you're going to screw is me." He grinned as she blushed and carried her into his apartment.

He was thankful he put all the party supplies in his weight room and he carried her directly back to his room.

Buck held Drew to him and kissed the top of her head "Sunshine that was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my life." He smiled and ran his fingers through her long blond hair "are you all right?"

Drew nodded and looked up to him "I love you Buck."

"I love you too, Drew" He smiled "forever. You're my soul, my world; I'll love you for eternity." He captured his lips with hers kissing her again.

Friday went by fairly quick. Trina baked the cakes while Drew and Ezra were at work and Buck stopped by the house then took them to the Grille where Dwayne was going to hold them in the kitchen till the party.

For Ezra, Trina made a 2-layer round chocolate cake. It was three different chocolates. The first layer was dark chocolate. The second layer was white chocolate. The layers were separated by melted chocolate chips with pecans. The cake itself was iced in white chocolate frosting. On the sides were playing cards. The top of the cake was decorated to look like a poker table after a few hands had been played, with cards thrown down and a few chips. "Happy Birthday Ezra" was written in dark chocolate piping. Drew's cake was a two-layer rectangular cake. It was a white cake decorated to look like a basket of strawberries. Fresh strawberries were piled in the center of the 'basket' and a few spilled over the side. The basket handle had been fashioned out of pieces of white chocolate. "Happy Birthday Drew" was printed on the ribbons that dangled off the handles. Trina had enjoyed making and decorating the cakes. It had been a while since the last time she'd decorated, and working with frosting was very different than working with marzipan, but she was pleased with the end result, and only hoped that Drew and Ezra would be too.

After her last day at the park Drew went by the clinic again to help out Kenin. Truth be known Drew was enjoying going to the clinic to talk with Kenin she had become someone Drew looked up too and admired.

Trina, Drew, and Alley already had made plans to go to Ajo that evening to see the movie 'Shrek.' Drew invited Kenin to go along as well.

After the movie let out they all humored Drew and went by McDonald's for dinner then went over to the bowling alley to play a few games. Alley and Trina had never bowled before and Kenin did not bowl well. So Drew got to teach them. They all had enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to go bowling again and the next time to invite some of the other ladies along.

Around midnight the four ladies entered the Grille. The place was packed and the four made their way up to the bar.

Kenin looked to the ladies "okay first drinks on me." She grinned as Drew frowned then pointed to the clock "you see that clock it's after midnight and June 16th. Happy Birthday!" She hugged Drew and smiled "now birthday girl what would you like?"

"A Margarita!" Drew smiled as JD walked over and hugged her.

"Happy Birthday Drew" JD smiled.

"Kid you putting the moves on my lady?" Buck walked over and grinned scooping Drew up into his arms. "I just got off and was hoping I'd see you here Sunshine. Happy Birthday!"

The next morning same as the previous one Drew woke up in Buck's bed. She sat up and looked around them smiled as Buck entered the bedroom.

"Morning Sunshine. Happy Birthday! Hope you like pancakes!" He grinned and set the tray in front of her.

Drew pulled the sheet up around her and smiled. "Thank you. Flowers too?"

Buck sat down next to her and laughed as she tried to hold the sheet and eat at the same time "darling no need to be modest after the past few nights."

Drew raised her eyebrow and looked to him "Ezra! Buck I have to go if he wakes and I'm not there."

"Easy easy Trina will cover for you `sides you can always say you left before he woke up."

Drew nodded and glanced to the bottle of Redi-Whip "what's that for?"

Buck ran his hand up her arm "that Sunshine is for me" He grinned then shook the can "time for breakfast!"

Drew laughed and soon the two were under the sheets again.

Before lunch Buck gave Drew her birthday presents. First were two thong bikinis he had purchased in Tucson while Trina was in another shop. Drew was amazed he got the right size for her. He took pictures of her while she modeled them for him. He also bought her a few baby t-shirts, a mini skirt, and the new `Sugar Ray' CD. The best present of all was front row seats to the Aerosmith concert in Phoenix this August. She had no idea he had the connections to get those and was really looking forward to it.

Before lunch they went out to the pool and swam for a few hours. Buck noticed some of the young men taking notice of Drew and puffed up giving them a `yeah she's mine look.'

For lunch he heated her up a can of Spaghetti O's and even humored her by sharing them with her.

Ezra called over shortly after lunch a little upset that Drew was not at home but knew he couldn't make her leave Buck's so he wished her a Happy Birthday.

Buck took Drew for a ride on his Harley that afternoon. He had purchased her a helmet as well. Around four he took her home and went to the Grille. He was meeting Trina, Dwayne, JD, and Alley there to decorate for the party.

Ezra stood up as Drew walked in the house "Drew? Where have you been all day long?"

"I was with Buck I told you that earlier." She rolled her eyes and looked to Ezra "what? I'm hot and sweaty. I've been on a motorcycle all afternoon."

"That better have been the only thing you've been on" Ezra mumbled under his breath as Drew made her way upstairs. "From now on wait till I wake up before you leave the house."

Drew shouted back down the stairs "I have a job Ezra. Well I will on Monday. Not everyone sleeps till eleven each day ya know!"

A few hours later Drew paced downstairs "it's almost seven. Buck was supposed to be here a half-hour ago."

Ezra walked into the living room and stopped. "Young lady you will not leave this house in that outfit."

Drew stood waving her arms "what?" She was wearing a black leather tube top and matching hip hugging black leather slacks. Her long blond hair fell over her shoulders.

Ezra stammered "I did not see that outfit when I went though your belongings. You can't dance in that the top will come off."

"Don't worry big brother by the looks of things I'll be sitting here tonight. Where's Trina?" She had purchased the leather outfit while in Cancun but was not about to tell Ezra that.

"She hasn't returned yet."

The phone rang and Drew jumped to answer it.

"Sunshine?" Buck was on the other end of the line shushing the people in the background.

"Yes Buck where the hell are you? You're late you know."

Buck waved Alley off as she tried to listen into the receiver "baby, I'm in the middle of a pool game here at the Grille. Karol is wiping me out and I can't leave just yet. Can Ezra bring you down?"

Drew's face turned red "I'm not sure Buck I think he's waiting on Trina."

"Trina's here too. So come on down. See you soon Sunshine. I love you." He hung up the phone before she could reply.

Ezra looked to Drew "what's the matter?"

Drew looked at him "Buck is in the middle of a game of pool and wants you to bring me down to the Grille."

Ezra sat down on the couch "sorry sister dear but I'm no chauffeur."

Drew leaned behind him whispering in his ear "maybe so but just thought you might like to know Trina is there as well."

Ezra stood up "excuse me? Trina is with Buck again?"

Drew shrugged. Ezra grabbed her arm and led her to the door "you sister dear need to get another boyfriend. Perhaps one who won't stray?"

Drew fought tears as they drove towards the Grille "Buck loves me Ezra."

Ezra looked to Drew as he parked outside the Grille "I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier." He leaned over and hugged her "Happy Birthday Drew. I just don't want you to get hurt is all don't you see that? But I'm afraid it may be too late. Please before you, well before you take your relationship too far with Buck think about it. You don't need to rush into..anything."

Drew kept quiet and waited for Ezra at the door of the Grille. He opened it up and they two stepped inside.

"Surprise!" The lights were flipped on and the two were mobbed by friends.

Drew blinked her eyes and looked around after returning hugs from Trina, Alley, Ridley, & Kenin. A huge banner hung that said Happy Birthday Ezra and Drew. Balloons filled the Grille. Drew looked from Trina to Buck "this is what?"

Buck nodded and scooped her up into his arms. "Yes Sunshine this is why we went to Tucson. We wanted you to be surprised."

"I am" Drew hugged him again then hugged Trina "thank you so much. I never had a surprise party before." Drew was in shock she felt badly for getting upset the other day but that was soon forgotten with well wishes and more hugs.

"Look who's here." Kenin walked up and smiled with Chris by her side.

Buck frowned to Chris "don't you be hassling her on her birthday. Or any day for that matter."

"Just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday is all" Chris smiled to Drew "Happy Birthday."

"Thanks" Drew smiled and looked over to see Ezra embracing Trina. She could see that Buck was still upset with Chris and wished she could do something to rectify that but also knew Buck would be more upset to find out what had gone down last week and that both her and Chris had kept it from him.

Drew watched as Nathan approached her with a very beautiful young woman. She figured it was the gal Buck had been telling her about the one Nathan was denying he was in love with.

Kenin smiled to Laura "how you feeling?"

Drew noticed her arm was in a sling and smiled to the woman as she glanced over at her.

"I'll live" Laura smiled.

Buck grinned putting his arm on Laura's good shoulder "Sunshine I want you to meet a good friend of mind. Laura Fitzpatrick."

Drew forced a smile and shook her hand "Drew Standish. Hi Nathan."

"Happy Birthday" Nathan reached down and gave Drew a hug then smiled to Buck "you did a good job with this party."

Soon the men were talking and Drew was standing with Kenin and Laura. "So Buck tells me you have a ranch? His horse is kept there?" Truth be known she wanted to know how good of friends Buck was with her. She seemed nice and Buck told her that Nathan had a thing for her.

"Yes Buck stables `Beauty' at my ranch. You should come by sometime for a ride."

"I'd love too" Drew smiled as Buck winked to her.

Buck and Trina disappeared for a moment and went into the kitchen. When they came out, they were each carrying a cake. Trina set the one she held in front of Ezra, and Buck set the one he had carried in front of Drew.

Ezra looked at it for a moment, staring. "Now I see why you had to go to Tuscon. Which bakery did you get this from? And do they deliver?"

Drew seemed equally impressed with hers. "How did you know this was my favorite?" She looked up at Buck.

Buck just grinned as Trina sat down, not saying a word. Since Trina was not going to fess up, Buck answered Ezra's question. "Oh, we got the supplies in Tuscon, but these cakes were made and decorated here in town."

"Who?" Ezra asked, while Drew picked up one of the strawberries decorating the plate of her cake.

"Trina."

Ezra and Drew both looked to her, obviously shocked.

"You never told us you could decorate cakes," Drew said.

Trina smiled. "You could go into business doing this, my dear. These are just exquisite. And if they taste even half as good as they look--
 

Buck handed each of them a knife. "Well, you gonna cut them cakes or not and find out?"

"Of course" Drew smiled then went over to hug Trina again "thank you so much."

After cake and presents the band took the stage. Drew sat on Buck's lap with a permanent smile etched on her face. She had never been this happy. She had never been surrounded by so many people who cared. Karol even let her win in a game of pool. Drew was almost certain that it was done on purpose sense it was her birthday because Karol was a much better pool player then she.

The lead singer smiled "Hello everybody we're The Cactus Thorns and we want to wish Ezra and Drew a Happy birthday and thank Buck for asking us to perform here tonight. I also want to announce a special treat and surprise for a very pretty lady out there tonight." He waved to Buck "come on up Buck got your guitar all ready."

Buck smiled and sat Drew down kissing her cheek. He made his way up to the stage and lifted his guitar "I spent all week trying to figure out just what song to serenade my Sunshine with."

Several `awww's went through the room.

Drew blushed and Trina reached over and squeezed her hand.

"So I thought why not play more then one?" He looked to the men "okay boys let's rock."

The band started in on a cover of Bad Company's `Feel Like Making Love.' Buck winked to Drew and started in "Baby when I think about you, I think about love.."

Before the song was over Drew was up on the stage dancing around Buck and even singing along with the chorus. She wasn't one to sing in public but she already had several Margaritas' in her. Made from a special batch Dwayne prepared for her birthday. Trina had given her some emerald earrings. That had touched Drew so much. Trina had remembered Drew admiring hers on the plane the first day they met.

Soon the band started in on ZZ Tops `Legs' with Buck still singing the lead.

Ezra shook his head and watched as Drew ran her leg over Buck and danced around him. "Must she make a spectacle of herself?"

Trina laughed "she's having fun Ezra."

Karol grinned and pulled Ridley to stand then Trina "let's dance. Come on Ezra!" She pulled him up too then he took Trina's hand and followed them out to the dance floor.

After a few more classic rock rifts Buck stopped and smiled to Drew who still stood with him up on stage "Now I have a real special song to sing for this beautiful woman who has captured my heart and soul. I love you Sunshine. I didn't write this song but it pretty much sums up how I feel about you."

Drew sat down on a stool that Josiah brought over and placed on the stage as Buck began to sing to her.

Buck took off his guitar after the song and everyone stood and applauded. He took Drew in his arms, dipped her and kissed her on the stage. Then lifted her off her feet he waved to the band "continue please. Time for me to dance with my lady."

Drew danced with almost everyone in the place and was having the time of her life. She wasn't really even bothered by the fact Buck was dancing with others as well. She smiled as he danced in the middle of Ridley and Karol. Then felt someone tap her shoulder.

It was Julio Hernandez a nineteen year old boy from the area Drew met while doing her community service. He and a few friends had been busted stealing street signs.

"Hey Julio. How ya doing?" Drew smiled. She got along with him and the other boys he got in trouble with.

"I'm doing okay Drew. Hear it's your birthday?" Julio had a huge crush on her, heck they all did. And he was determined to get her to go out with him.

"Yes it is" Drew smiled.

Julio smiled to some of his friends who were giving him a thumbs up "look we're having a party at Rawling's house. Kyle's older brother got us a keg and everything I was just wondering..."

Vin made his way out to the dance floor and looked to Buck "hey Buck." He grinned to Ridley "having fun."

"Now Vin songs not over yet" Buck looked to him and danced in front of Ridley.

"Well pard" Vin glanced over to Drew who was talking with Julio and a few of his friends. "Didn't know Drew knew Julio."

Buck stopped dancing and Karol laughed "kids kind of cute." Ridley nodded and they all laughed as Buck made his way over.

Karol, Vin, and Ridley followed not wanting to miss anything.

"I can't leave my own birthday party Julio." Drew laughed as she felt an arm go around her.

"Sunshine?" Buck glared to Julio "what are you doing?"

Drew looked at Karol as she winked then back to Buck "everyone this is Julio, Kyle....."

Buck shook his head "we know who they are Sunshine. I was the one who busted them for stealing signs."

"Oh" Drew bit her lip.

Julio glared at Buck "was just trying to have fun old man."

Buck moved forward and pushed Julio "who you calling old man?" He really disliked the boy. Stealing street signs was not the only thing he and his friends had been in trouble over. They all had various arrests for underage drinking, vandalism, and some other minor offenses. Now the little jerk was hitting on his girl.

Vin grabbed Buck back "come on Bucklin he ain't worth it. Kids just trying to rile ya is all."

Buck stood there and glared as the boys walked off mocking him "Sunshine, Sunshine..."

"I'm sorry Buck" Drew looked to him "I don't think you're an old man" she wrapped her arms around him.

Alley made her way over to the group with JD carrying a tray "time for some shots!"

Drew laughed and held onto Buck "all right more shots!"

Soon Julio and his friends were forgotten as more shots were done and Drew, Buck, Vin, Karol, Ridley, Alley, and JD made their way out to the dance floor soon to be joined by the others.
