Duo woke the next morning feeling exhausted from lack of sleep, he blinked finding his vision being blurred.

He may have slept last night, but remembered waking many times.

Duo laid in his bed for some time, then realized there was something missing�.. the smell of breakfast that Quatre made every morning, Duo decided that there was no use just laying in bed all day, so he got up and headed for the bathroom.

Heero was in the kitchen when Duo came down stairs, to Duo�s surprise the smell was amazing, Duo looked over Heero�s shoulder an peeked at what Heero was cooking.

Heero had begun making, French toast with home made bread and vanilla syrup, Heero put five toast�s on a plate then sprinkled it with a fine white sugar,

"Duo! BREAKFAST!!"

"ITAI!!! I�M RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!" Duo cried as he held his ears,

"WOW� thanks Heero� I had no idea you could cook�."

"Yeah well I usual never had to cook�. And I didn�t want to show off all my talents�.. at once." Heero replied with a smirk.

Duo grabbed the plate and licked his lips as he ran for the table� nearly knocking the toast off the plate, then sat down and eat everything in a matter of five seconds.

"BAKA WATCH OUT YOU NEARLY KNOCKED THE TABLE OVER, be more careful" Heero yelled

Duo never looking over at Heero nodded in reply. Then Duo turned around,

"Gomen.. Heero�.Do you have any more of these?" Duo asked with a big grin.

Heero couldn�t help but smile, seeing the syrup and white surgar on the side of Duo�s mouth as he held out his plate, Heero threw three more on the plate and Duo went to work of eating them.

Duo stood out side of Quatre�s hospital room, afraid of what he was about to see when he walked in.

Finally Duo mustered up enough strength to open the door, Duo peeked his head in, he looked over to the bed and found Quatre�� Quatre was covered with thick blanket�s, but the cast was still visible, Quatre was covered in a cast from his neck to his feet, Duo felt tear�s form in his eyes as he looked at the small broken angel.

"Quatre�. I�m so sorry" Duo said to himself as he walked closer to Quatre, Quatre was asleep, but Duo couldn�t hold back the tears any longer as he looked at Quatre�s face� his face was covered in black and blue, his bottom lip was swollen, and he had large stitches over his right eyes brow,

�God� I�m sorry�.. i��.� Duo sank to the floor, his thought�s were of nothing but regret, Duo cried softly as to not to wake Quatre, but Quatre slowly woke,

Duo looked toward the bed, wiped his tears and stood up,

"Quatre� it�s me� Duo." Duo answered as he placed his finger on Quatre�s,

Duo felt as if he were going to loose it, seeing Quatre like this ripped at his heart.

Duo heard small cries coming from Quatre, he looked over to see streams of tears escape from Quatre�s swollen eyes,

"No�. Quatre.. please don�t cry�. I�m here�. Please�.." Duo pleaded as he gently ran his finger over Quatre�s cheek,

Duo placed a light finger over his lip�s,

"Shh.. Quatre�. You don�t need to speak�." Duo wanted to say more but his heart cried out in pain.

Quatre gripped at Duo�s finger�s telling him not to leave him, Duo looked at Quatre a forced a smile,

"Don�t worry�� angel I will stay here with you��"

Quatre tried to hold back the tears but it didn�t work,

"Shh please angel don�t cry�." Duo placed his hands on either side of Quatre�s face,

"I�m here."

Duo spent the day keeping Quatre company, Duo felt he had to be strong for Quatre, he felt he needed to be there for him,

Duo found that his heart jumped when Quatre spoke those soft words,

"Quatre�.. I�m hungery would you like anything?"

Duo left the room, he found his mind thinking thought�s that were new to him,

�Quatre� I love you so much�. How can I even tell you?�. I need you� my love��

Duo must have walked around the hospital longer than he thought, his mind was thinking of Quatre, why? Why now did he think of Quatre that way? Why did he want Quatre so much? Why did Quatre steal his heart the way he did? How did Quatre get to him like this?

Duo finally made it back to Quatre�s room and realized that he had forgotten to get something to eat!

"Damn!" Duo said as he reached into his pocket for some money and ran for the café.

Duo ran back into Quatre�s room, and plopped down in the chair and ripped open his chip�s,

"Oh�.. nothing�.. there was this cute nurse and I was kinda following her�.. I�m sorry."

Duo claimed, trying to make up some kind of story.

"Well if you consider being shot down fun.." Duo answered with a grin.

Meanwhile Heero was at the base touching up on Wing Zero, when he felt the presence of someone.

Heero spun around to find Zechs Marquize,

"Heero Yuy�. I have a phone call for you�.. take it in the lounge." Zechs said as he pointed in the direction of the lounge.

Heero walked into the lounge and answered the phone,

"Hello?"

"Hey, Heero!"

"What do you want Duo?"

"Well, well�. Something got you panties in a bunch? I called to tell you that they are thinking of taking off Quatre�s cast sooner than they thought!"

"And!?"

"Well it�s nice to know someone cares soooooooo much for Quatre!"

"Gomen�. So when are they thinking of removing them?"

"They said in the next week or so! Can you believe it!! I�m so happy for Quatre, I guess that�s the benfit�s of being a Gundam pilot, huh?"

"Yeah� well I might be home until late tonight, the last battle really screwed up Wings system."

"So your saying I have to fend for myself?"

"Duo� if you can�t cook order out!"

Heero yelled before slamming the phone down,

"That baka is so helpless some times." Heero said to himself before heading back to Wing Zero.

Many days went by and Duo went to visit Quatre every day, and every night Duo would sit up late and think of him.

Then the day came when Quatre was finally going to get his cast off,

"So, you feel strong enough to get these heavy casts off?"

"Yeah� I�m feeling a whole lot better then before.."

Quatre�s face and wounds were also beginning to heal, Duo also noticed that Quatre was getting his angelic glow back.

"Well Mr. Winner, are you ready?" The doctor asked walking towards Quatre,

Quatre nodded yes and Duo followed Quatre into another room.

Heero was tapping away on the computer when Zechs entered the room,

"Heero Yuy�� Heero Yuy�.." Zechs repeated as he walked behind Heero.

Heero looked to his side where Zechs was standing, Heero glared at Zechs, but Zechs didn�t seem to notice,

"Mr. Heero Yuy�" Zechs said as he placed his hand on Heero�s shoulder,

"Yes?" Heero answered in a low voice.

Zechs said nothing, he slid his hand across Heero�s shoulder�s.

Heero reached to grab Zechs� hand, but Zechs� left hand stopped Heero�s swing.

Zechs, leaned down and grabbed Heero tighly around his waist,

"WHAT! ARE YOU DOOIINGG!" Heero asked trying to free himself from Zechs� grip.

Zechs pressed his cheek against Heero�s and spoke softly into his ear,

"I want you�. Bad!"

Heero shuttered, and Zechs felt his way down Heero�s chest, Heero tried to free himself, but Zechs� grasp became stronger,

"Don�t fight it, I know you want me to�.." Zechs whispered as he continued down Heero�s chest.

Zechs found his way to Heero�s groin and cupped him and rubbed his hand up and down roughly,

"You like that, don�t you?" Zechs spoke softly as Heero gasped.

Zechs suddenly let go of Heero, and watched a Heero as he walked away,

"You want more?�� You know where to find me�." Zechs replied before leaving the dazed Heero.
