Hilde: Alia how is this gonna turn out?

Alia: I’m not sure right now. I’m just winging it.

Sally knocked on the door again. "You think at least one of them would be awake. I mean its almost noon. Maybe we shouldn’t bother." Asked Noin. Sally leaned over and gently kissed her lover. "Are you still worried about Zechs?" Noin nodded. "We haven’t told him and Wufei yet." Sally smiled. "Don’t worry. They’re our friends. They’ll be happy for us." Noin laughed and knocked on the door. Finally it opened and Wufei stumbled into the doorway. Sally’s jaw dropped. "Wufei, you have a hangover!" All he did was nod and escort them inside. Noin tried to stop giggling. "Did you boys have a drinking party?" Heero walked in telling them not to ask. The girls sat down. "Um… I was just wondering if you guys were coming with the rest of us to Alia’s?" Trowa glanced over at the letter in the garbage can. "I don’t know." Sally snorted. "Aw come on. It’s a whole week at Alia’s summerhouse. It’ll be so much fun. It’s a huge country cottage. She has more than enough rooms for all of us to stay." Noin put her head on Sally’s shoulder. " Please guys. It’ll be no fun without you." Quatre sighed. "I guess we will come." Sally jumped up and shouted. "Great. We’ll see you tomorrow." "Bye." Hand in hand Sally and Noin left. Duo glared at Quatre. "Why on earth did you tell them that for?" Quatre explained. "Duo if we didn’t agree to go the girls would have thought that their relationships were affecting us." Zechs snorted. "But they are affecting us." "I know that but it might hurt their relationships." Trowa stood. "We should go pack." Heero came out of the closet with a suitcase. "Well be there for about a week. Let’s get ready." Wufei stumbled up the stairs to pack.

The drive to the house in their van was too long. It didn’t help that the girls were all hugged up most of the while. Duo sighed as he looked out the window. Relena had fallen asleep earlier and was now lying in Hilde’s lap. "Check it out guys. There she is." Alia stopped the van on the side of an old road and pointed into the woods. Through the trees a beautiful cottage could be seen. "Wow Alia. It’s huge." Exclaimed Zechs. She smiled. "It’s not that big but it has enough room for us all." "Too bad." "Really." Trowa whirled around to see a very red Noin and Sally. Wufei snorted at the scene. "Well come on and let’s get a look at that house." Duo jumped out the van and ran to the house. The others followed. Heero came up beside Alia and Dorothy. "How did you get this place Alia?" "My grandmother used to own it. She gave it to me in her will." Dorothy got curious. "She’s dead?" Alia slowly nodded. Dorothy leaned over to kiss her saying, "Sorry I shouldn’t have brought it up." "It’s okay." She put an arm around Dorothy’s waist. Quatre shook his head and sighed heavily. "What’s wrong Quatre? Why so sad?" Relena put a hand on his shoulder. "Nothing just tired from the long drive." Hilde nodded in understanding. "Don’t worry you can lie down later." "So can we." Hilde chased Relena up the road.

They went inside and were dazzled by the cottages beautiful rooms and furniture. "Alia you really know how to treat friends." Said Sally. "Thanks. Hey why don’t you all go pick a room. I have to check supplies." She went in the kitchen while the others went up the stairs. "I’ve got this room." Called Wufei. Duo picked the room across from his and Sally and Noin picked one to the right of him. "You two are sharing a room?" He asked Noin. "Yes. I know there are enough rooms but I just want to stay with her." She went in. Trowa sat his bag in his room. "So all the girls are sharing rooms?" Quatre nodded. "I guess so." They went back down stairs to find Alia airing out the room. "Well is everyone settled in? Good. We have everything we need here so we don’t have to leave." Duo plopped down on the couch. "So what do you guys want to do now?" Heero looked around the room. His blue eyes settled on the television and VCR. "Hey Zechs didn’t you bring some movies with you?" The rest of the evening they watched Matrix, Sixth Sense, and Final Destination. Quatre hated all three movies because almost every time something happened Dorothy would cling to Alia. Heero was the same. Though he liked the movies when ever Hilde and Relena clung to each other his chest clenched. Zechs stood to leave. Noin and Sally had been hugged up since they got there. "Going to bed Zechs?" asked Duo. "Yeah I’m really tired. Goodnight." Later after the last movie Relena started to yawn. "You tired?" asked Hilde. When she nodded Hilde decided that they should go ahead to bed. "We should go to. I want to be asleep by the time the rain starts." "What rain?" Sally asked. A sound of thunder echoed through the room making them all jump. "That rain." Another round of rumbling made Dorothy jump into Alia’s arms. "Maybe we should go to bed guys." They all agreed and headed to their own rooms.
