Article of the Day number whatever:
CLUBBING
Recently, I received a bulletin board message on my myspace titled 'THIS IS FUCKIN CRUEL'.  Obviously I'm gonna click on it and I did and was immediately harrassed by pictures on clubbing.  No not pictures of women dancing on poles or a dj spinnin' some tunes or crazy amounts of underage drinking.  Clubbing.  Like seal clubbing.  Ex. You are strolling around the arctic and you see a seal and go...'hmm, I think I'm gonna take a blunt object and whack it on the head'.

So I'm looking at all of this and its pretty disgusting.  I didn't really need to see any of it.  Basically, the article is showing gratuitous violence in order to scare the people into reading and believing that hundreds of people go around and kill baby seals.  It ends on a note of 'bring this to the attention of world leaders'. wtf.  How is a little tiny bulletin going to make a difference in the world?  What are you going to say to politians?  '

"Umm...worldwide peace and healthcare and lowering the gas prices and rising minimum wage and decreasing taxes and building a better economic structure means nothing to us...what about the baby seals?"

REALLY people...I'm not trying to be mean but the idea is idiotic to begin with.  To sum up, its not going to happen.  Get over it.  Go complain about the whales next and lets see what I say.
