Beat The Heat River Run 4 was hosted by the Southern Nevada Mini Truck and Car Council (S.N.M.T.C.C.) on the weekend of April 20 - 22. The drive to the run began Friday morning, about 6am and ended at Davis Camp,in Bullhead City, close to noon, that afternoon.
The park was much smaller than anticipated and almost full by the time we arrived. We did however get unpacked and set up in time to begin a Desert Images river run tradition...getting drunk!
Cruising happened all night and into the morning. Early the next morning, during the rain, several of our members got out of their tents and dragged themselves over to the show grounds to set up their displays and get ready for the sun and the crowd. The following are pictures from the show.
Congratulations to Jim. He recieved a 3rd place trophy in a class with pretty stiff competition.
