| Pixies: Those who seek Power Pixies are the highest of the Dark Kingdoms, and legend states that once they fought a Great War against the Fairies which banished them to Lilunmel forever. This race is generally devious and underhanded, giving a rather dubious reputation. All other races are given to express much caution when dealing with them. The Pixies care little about what the others think about them, and unlike most other Kingdoms who stick to a rough feudal kind of governing, they have turned Upper Lilunmel into a modernistic capitalist world. Also, unlike the other Kingdoms, there is no factioning of Pixie government, their king, Oual Giryn, rules all of his race, although the Kingdom is divided into thirty-four states. Under the Pixies' rule too is three states of the Enchanters and four of the prefectures of the Witches. Pixies come in dark shades of any color, and color has no bearing on state or corporation affiliation. Sprites This Kingdom is the lowest of the Lights, and it is easy to tell that. All the other Kingdoms in Upper Lilamel see them as a joke. Though they have comical antennae and are always laughing and having fun, this idea, that the Sprites are lesser creatures, is unfounded. The Jifa family is very friendly, all the princes and princesses are required to travel the Kingdom and work, eat, and live along side their subjects. If you were to talk to almost any Sprite, they would know at least one member of the Royal family. They come in six colors, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet. There is a small measure of de facto segregation with the different colors, but there is no ill will, the colors just tend to live in different villages. One notable exception is the town of Masaba Mission. This community was by Father Horatio who is now in his eighties. Masaba is a Temple commune, and going there is like stepping into a rainbow. More importantly, this village is open to everyone, because, unlike Fairies and Elves, who are always small, Sprites can grow to the size of Humans. Unicorns There are "Colours" of Unicorn, which are a cross between states and tribes. In the past, they had been separated by color, White, Silver, Black, Red, and Copper, but in the past two centuries, a massive desegregation of the Colours, they are now defined by political beliefs and mind sets. Each race has in-borne tendencies toward certain talents, though. When two Unicorns of different races interbreed their offspring is either of one color or the other, their features do not mix. White Unicorns have soft silver manes and silver hooves, with silver horns. The Whites generally have psychic abilities, and are thought of the great thinkers of the Unicorns. The White Colour currently is known philosophical clan. The Queen of the Unicorns, Cirrus of Fora, is more untraditional, the first of the royal family to marry out of Colour. The Silver Unicorns have dark gray manes with shiny silver coats. They mainly have magical talents, the Colour as it is today is the sorcerer clan. Their leader, Dias de Lan, has been rumored to be over four hundred years old, which would make him the oldest Unicorn ever by fifty years at least. The Black Unicorns are all black in color, and have gifts dealing with empathy and kindness. The most famous Black is a nun named Mother Naomi who first brought the teaching of the Temple to Upper Lilamel. The Black Colour is now known for setting up missions, creating game preserves, and communing with others and nature. The Red Unicorns are fiery as their deep crimson manes, that are said to look like they are burning when the Red gets angry or upset. Their pale white coats add stark contrast to this, the Reds' war-making ways. Their abilities usually have to do with something psychical. The Red Colour is simply known as the War Clan today, and it is quite different from other Colours because any creatures of any race may join it whenever they would like to. A young stallion of this clan called Daniel Prudence was a spy that exposed a plot of Rakudo's Forces to invade Lilamel. The Copper Unicorns have rusty colored coats, and bronze colored manes. Their gifts are ones dealing with love and pleasure, and the Colour is known for its members pursuit of Joy almost as a religion. The King of all Unicorns is a very clever Copper named Agus of Duron, who married the only daughter of the last King. He is the first Copper King, and he has made many changes which spread power more evenly among the Colours, preventing an oncoming war between the traditionally more influential Whites and the rest of the clans. |
