Creatures of the Four Lands:
A-N
Angili

The Angili are divided into two distinctive types.  One type, the Angelic are grown in the Geika Gardens tended by the Black Colour of Unicorns.  When the Marte Flowers bloom in this garden, inside is a New Borne Angelic, whose soul is that of an innocent who died in Styre.  They usually stay with the Unicorn Colour.  The other kind of Angili are the Mortals who are the descendants of the Angelics.  After a bloody war with the Werewolves a century ago, Angili society collapsed and the surviving refugees moved to Lower Lilunmel, and continued warring as soon as it got strong enough.  A successful revolution was led not long ago by a orphaned youth named
Jaron Torie against the Elders who were perpetuating the endless war.

Elves

The Elves live a relatively unobserved life.  Unlike the Sprites, the Angili and the lower Dark Kingdoms, who are constantly looked down on by the Fairies and the Humans in Lilamel, the Elves keep a low profile.  The King has given right-of-governing to seven nobles under him, one of whom,
Su Kin has taken steps to bring a Temple Mission to the Elves, but otherwise they maintain a fairly secretive society.

Enchanters: Those who seek Knowledge

The Cat-people, or Enchanters, are most commonly known as the lackeys of the Pixies, but they are far more than that.  They are as devious, and as powerful as the Pixies.  In truth, these two races are close allies that are more than glad to spread the myth that the Enchanters are weak to fool any potential enemies.  In reality, they are generally accomplished mages, scholars, engineers, scientists or intellectuals.   They have eight states, three of which are ruled by the Pixie government, two others are ruled by
Kasen Olsen who is an elected president, the only ruler in the Twelve Kingdoms who is a half-breed, his father is an Enchanter, and his mother is a Pixie.  The last three states are ruled by the Aron family, and source of the most innovations in Lilunmel.

Fairies

Fairies are the most honored, and are of the highest kingdom, of any creatures represented by Twelve Kingdoms.  They are approximately four inches high, and have incredibly strong magic. They have butterfly wings, and have different wing colors, skin colors, and hair colors.  There is no racial associations with color, it is purely a reflection of one's immediate family.  The fairies tend to keep to themselves and live in colonies away from the other creatures of the Kingdoms. The current heir to the throne,
Prince Shero Risha wants to change this separatist rule, but it is a highly unpopular idea.

Greater Red Wolven

Much like the Minor Wolven in appearance, only about three feet taller and, of course, with deep red fur.  They are also much more clever, and most claim allegiance to the Hijah Republic (a Vampire/Werewolf Government in Lower Lilunmel). One of the most notable of these is
Lord Xama, who holds the position of Lord General in the Hijah, one of only four creatures with this appointment.

Humans: Those who seek Pleasure

The most abundant race in the four Kingdom Worlds.  They are the Twelfth Kingdom, one of the Dark Races.  However, unlike the other Dark Races, the Human Kingdom is in Upper Lilamel.  Even so, there is a fairly large number of Humans in what should be their traditional home, Lower Lilunmel.  This is due to a mostly Human sect known only as The Temple, who provides law and order for the Humans who live there.   The Human Kingdom, whose Duke is always the King, has been struck a blow recently when the heir to the throne,
Princess Dorthea Ciren, disappeared.

Mermaids

Clorains, as Mer people call them selves, live in beautiful underwater cities. While most Kingdoms choose whether or not the interact with others, the Clorians are inherently separate from other peoples.
Kenda Clora, one of the daughers of the current King, visits the Queen of Chrystalina once a year, but this is the only time that Clorians actively contact outside sources.

Minor Wolven

Barely what can be called sentient, these simple-minded creatures live in loose tribes in Lower Lilunmel.  They have almost no organization among Minor Wolven.  They are, in appearance, essentially werewolves that skip the human-equse part.  They are wolf-like animals that walk upright and speak unique guttural languages depending on which tribe they belong to.  One tribe's leader,
Kykek the Blue, is said to be more intelligent than any Minor Wolven before, but this is as yet unproven.
