- Traditional Dine Weaving & Dyeing for Educators: Under the guidance of Isabell Myers Deschinny and her assistant, you will learn Dine weaving and dyeing techniques using math, science and language arts standards for AZ & NM;  Learn different methods of teaching Dine weaving and dyeing such as card weaving and sagebrush dyes;  Learn about the significance of Dine Weaving and Dyeing;  Learn a brief history of Dine Weaving and Dyeing;  Learn to wash, card and spin greasy wool into yarn using a Dine hip spindle;  Receive a copy of Isabel Deschinny's dye book, "NATIVE PLANT DYES, Series I: INTRODUCTION" (c) 1984;  Learn about mordants;  Learn about plant preparation;  Dye many colors of yarn using Dine techniques;  Learn about the conservation of plants;  Learn to warp; Learn to weave a rug using basic designs such as block, step and diagonal; Apply weaving techniques on upright Navajo loom
