Construction: Hip Armor: Shaped out of cardboard and covered with toilet and paper towels to make it seem less cardboardy. The "jewel" was made from Sculpty and hot glued on. The front and back piece were made of cardboard and toilet paper, and clay and toilet paper, respectively. Then they were attached to an elastic "belt" using yarn. Painted with oil paints, spray paint, and arcrylics. Chest piece: Used a bra and covered it with fabric and made a hot glue mold. Then covered it with plaster strips and toilet paper. Sculptey was then molded around the edges to make the jewels and contrasting trim. The straps were made from Craft Foam and hot glued into place. It was all attached with a... safety pin and ribbon. Gauntlet: Made from wrapping seran wrap around my arm, duct taping it, then putting foam on top of that. Spray painted, then attached with safety pins. Hardest: There was no easy task in this. The armor was really confusing to make. Easiest: Loincloth and choker. Comments:Because I was in a .Hack// group, people always wanted to take out pictures. I'm really happy with how the hip armor came out, although I may want to adjust it so that the armor hangs more evenly. The chest armor will be redone, since it was too small for me. The gauntlets will definately be redone so that it will actually fit and so that I could move my wrists. This outfit is in the workshop. Again.
