Cost of Materials: $24.70
Tasks:
  • Petticoat
  • Overskirt
  • Shirt

Comments: Very easy to make, but sewing on the trim sucked royally.
The original dress was dark blue, but the store didn't have the exact shade I wanted, so I had to settle for a lighter blue.
The dress design was made about a year ago, in 2002~2003, and was a mini skirt length, but Amy didn't want to show off that much skin.
Details: Knee-length skirt with petticoat slightly longer. Shirt is sleeveless, and neckline is trimmed with white lace and light pink ribbon. Bodice portion is trimmed with light pink ribbon, and straps are trimmed with matching white lace and light pink.

The dress is as complete as I could get it without Amy, since I can't put in the zipper withough fitting it, nor can I finish putting on the trim or put in the sleeves until the fitting is definite. Amy and I are not the same size, nor are we the same height or build. And so far, guess who was the mannequin? Me. Lucky me. Anyways, the ribbon trim is now light pink because I don't have that much white ribbon left, and it looks alot cuter that way anyways.

Finishing touches made on the shirt. I had to make this during the time when I wasn't allowed to sew, so from July 7 to July 17, I finished the shirt.
