Another long wait for an update, I suck. SO much has happened in my being lazy though. First of all, we have the records finally coming out! You read right. The release dates are: February 10th for the still untitled EP and March 23rd for the also to be announced titled album. The EP coming this Feb will have 4 songs, and is expected to be called 'Merican, but that's not for sure quite yet. The LP, to my knowledge will contain 12 songs, a larger part of the album is written by Dr. Milo. ALSO, an MP3 is out! It is from the March album, and it is titled: Cool to be You. Written by Karl Alverez (bass), it is a stabbing song geared toward the lucky people (my take on it anyways). Go on over to ALLcentral, ALL/Descendents offical site, to grab it while it's hot! ALSO if that was not enough good news, the offical Descendents website will be up very soon (okay before the EP is out) so you might want to check it every once and a while and look at it's progress. Man, I suck. I haven't updated this thing in about 4 months!? A lot has gone on though since I last updated though, just personal stuff (ie. finishing up semester, girlfriend, vacation, etc). No reason not to update, but an excuse nontheless. Anyways, Stockage03 just took place, and man was it AWESOME. Around 40 or so bands, 3 days and over 38 hours of music, food, and friends. What a great time it was, it took place at the same place it happened last year, ALL/Descendents Central location... Fort Collins, CO. A bunch of new stuff was played over the course of the days. A few ALL instrumentals were played and I counted 3 new Descendents songs that were played. She Don't Care, Anchor Grill, and I'm not too sure what the Karl song is called, but it has the course "must be cool" in it, so I'm thinking something along those lines. By far I think Anchor Grill was the best, Bill sang that, and man it has some great melodies. The new record should be great, knowing just that those songs will be on it. Other than that, nothing much new has happened. You can check out some Stockage03 stuff out that I have up on a little page I've made for it, mainly just peoples sites I've found that have pictures of it. Well, not too much going on. Thought I would update though with some new pictures of me. I just took these today. Me and a roommate got bored and found a bottle of wine, so we thought we'd pimp it out and take some pictures of our fine selves. Other than that not much in the way of Descendents/?ALL news. Second issue of nicexlife.com should be out pretty soon. I made a few logo/banners for it, so give that a check. Later!
Happy Valentines day! Hope everybody gets some lovin' going on, I know I won't. Thought I would update the page since I haven't since last November. Not much in the way of news is happening for the new record on the Descendents. The word is Bill will be posting up some small clips of the new record within the next few weeks. He is STILL perfecting the album, but we should see a release sooner than later now. I also am updating to whore a little thing I wrote for an e-zine called 'nicexlife'. I wrote it for the site a couple weeks ago and found out that it has been put in the first issue!! If you have time PLEASE check it out. You can find it here: nicexlife.com or on my links page.
