Five years has passed since Paul visited the five men as he gathered together before the next day he wanted to visit them one last time but this time was going to be different. He passed the bar and went straight for the inn as he got there the inn was closed so he decided to look in the windows as he looked into the windows he saw it was deserted no furniture, no lobby, nothing no sign of life except for blood on walls and ground. “What happened here I don’t remember this the first time he thought then he kept on staring at the blood so much like his wife and son then his son said, “Hey dad what you talking about and what are you doing?” Paul looked at Darin and was confused he didn’t know where he was or what he was doing then Darin said to him “I’m going to go help mom and see what she needs.” “Okay Darin you go ahead I’ll catch up later.” “Are you sure?” “Yes I’m sure.” Darin ran away while Paul gathered his thoughts and wanted to know everything where he was, what he was doing, and why he was here. Paul decided he didn’t know what to do so instead of standing around he decided to walk around and find some clues to his motives as he walked he found a trash can and it was a newspaper he picked it up and it read Earth Post 2050 the he knew everything for the part being he knew now by staring at the blood he brought himself to relive his past once again where his wife and son will die against the Sharp Claws but he threw the paper aside and muttered “It won’t happen this time I am going to prevent it from happening I will save my family from this disaster I swear it.” “Don’t be to sure about that.” said a person walking towards him “Who are you?” “What do you want?” “I’m sorry I am one of the men you met before I’m one of the men from your future yes I am a time traveler from 3010 I’m sorry I brought you here and also me too to tell you that you won’t be able to prevent your disaster I can watch and help you though.” “So you telling me that your from 3010 and one of the men from where again?” “I’m from Earth 3010 from the inn you visited before.” Paul’s jaw dropped open and was amazed and smiled “Now what do I do?” “Go visit your family of course before time runs out.” “Yeah your right I should thanks but first I have something to tell you before I leave.” “No it’s alright tell me later now leave before something happens to me or you.” Paul waves to the man but the man is already gone so he runs to his home to visit his family Jenny and Darin to see them for the final time. Paul arrives at home he hesitates for awhile then goes into his house and Darin and Jenny are watching Tv in the living room then he enters into the living room “I told you he would be back mom.” “Yes I know he would be.” Paul sits down on the couch feeling tired “What’s wrong honey Can I get you something?” “Oh nothing don’t have to get me anything except a hug would be nice.” Paul hugged them both then sat down again “Guess what dad?” “What’s that?” “We have some good news to tell you?” “What is it?” “We are joining the military said Darin looking proud and happy and Jenny and Darin smiled at Paul. Paul knew that was the wrong decision because they would die against the aliens so he said, “No you two will not serve in the military I will not allow it.” “Why what’s wrong?” they said “Because I am the husband and father and I won’t allow it I have my reasons.” “Well if that’s the way it’s going to be we are going to join anyways they became angry and began to cry. “Your a lousy father a loser said Darin running to his room and slamming the door Jenny said next “Your a lousy husband.” “I am just trying to protect you and Darin from danger.” “What danger? there is no danger we are safe no harm at all we hate you forever.” “You don’t mean that do you.” “Of course we do what do you think?” “Good Night Paul said Jenny with disgust and anger showing one more thing that Paul didn’t want to hear you sleeping on the couch tonight don’t try anything.” After that Jenny went to here bedroom and went to sleep. Paul stayed awake for awhile then the man said out of nowhere “Paul you can’t prevent that disaster that’s going to happen remember what I told you earlier you need to tell them that they can join the military and then everything will be alright.” “Man from the future I saw blood in the inn before you brought me here what happened?” “Okay I will tell you then we were having a great time telling stories and talking in general when we didn’t see you in a long time anyways one of the men was feeling tired and weird he actually had a sharp claw in his stomach it ripped out of his stomach and killed a lot of people in the inn I escaped of course but the military arrived and killed the sharp claw with their laser guns and got it to their science labs division for tests and other stuff too that’s the real story.” then the man was gone “Wow what a story.” Paul said quietly then went to sleep. Paul awoke the next day to find Jenny and Darin eating breaksfast and watching Tv in the kitchen “We have nothing to say to you.” they both said then he laughed


and said, “Jenny and Darin I have something to tell you.” “Well what is it?” Paul knew this is the wrong choice he had token in his entire life and alittle angry but said “You can join the military I was thinking about it last night and it is final you both can!” “Really?” “Yes really you both can.” Jenny and Darin was surprised and happy they both hugged Paul and said thank you to him but they will regret it with their lives once they joined the military Jenny and Darin of course. Jenny and Darin went to their rooms to pack clothes and other things too while Paul was still in the kitchen then the man appeared once again and said, “Did you mention it to them? How did they take it?” “Yes I told them they were surprised and happy but I don’t want to see the and their deaths can you send me back?” “I’m sorry I can’t your going to have to see it again I wish I could but can’t sorry but later I might send you back.” then the man disappeared once again and Paul was stuck alone in the kitchen. The day actually passed fast the next day Paul drove Jenny and Darin to the military base it was called SFS (Special Flight Services) Paul knew now that this was the last time he would see them and their lives were in danger forever he actually cried they asked him what was wrong? But he nodded and said nothing and wiped his tears away with his hand and he drove into the base. Once they gotten into the base they were greeted by the Commander he told them everything they wanted to know everything was great until the alarms went off the Commander went into the base for a few minutes then came out and said to Paul’s family “We have intruders an alien race called Sharp Claws are going to destroy Earth if we don’t fight get suited up we are going to fight this war.” this is it the end of course for my family I’m going to see it again I don’t want too but I have too their lives are more precious then mine I wish I can take their places instead Paul thought. Paul’s family were transferred to the base on the moon and they suited up in their uniforms and were given laser guns and one laser knife and several plasma bombs now they were ready for the war but Paul knew no weapon would kill the Sharp Claws they were strong they will kill his wife and son but he was stronger and he will try everything to save them if it meant his own life. Paul’s family positioned themselves around the surface of the moon and they all raised their laser guns and waited for the Sharp Claws to appear then something appeared flying out above them and they knew it was the aliens a bunch of them they landed on the moon and came towards Paul’s family. They opened fired on the Sharp Claws. After they blasted several aliens a few fell but they just kept coming they fought hard but the aliens wouldn’t stop and die Paul’s family grouped together and released all of their plasma bombs on the Sharp Claws a lot of them fell but more came “How many are there?” they said then they kept on fighting but were tired finally three aliens were on Jenny and she took out her knife and killed two of them but the third one scored a hit on her and clawed at her until she stumbled to the ground bleeding Paul saw what was happening and went to her but it was too late she was dead. Darin on the other hand wasn’t doing any better he killed a few but thought their was too many but he fought bravely but more advanced Paul saw Darin fighting more aliens but their were too many Paul ran to Darin’s side “How are you holding up son?” “I’m tired but I’ll manage.” Darin looked around “Where’s mom?” Paul looked mad and tired “I’m sorry son but she is dead I tried to help but it was too late.” “Okay dad I understand completely don’t worry we’ll kill them all.” Then four Sharp Claws were surrounding Paul three were on Darin, Darin was trying to hold them at bay but they tore him to death with their claws and he was bleeding and he fell to the ground he died he died instantly. Paul ended his suffering and killed all of the Sharp Claws that were left not a single one lived. Paul saved Earth but lost his wife and son he retired from the military and the man appeared and said, “Now you saw what you saw now I will grant your wish to go back.” “Okay take me back.” Paul said tired. Paul was standing on the sidewalk looking at the inn it was opened looked into the windows everything was back the men, the lobby, the hospital, and more he went in because he was tired he finally got a room and went to sleep. In his dream he saw his wife and son hugging him and saying thank you and we exisit in your heart for now we will always be there we love you. The next day Paul met the mystery man and said, “Thank you.” “Your welcome he replied smiling and happy if you need any more help just ask, I will help the best I can.” “Okay thanks.” then Paul left the inn once again but will remember his past as well as his future.
