Dear Student Organizations of UH!
We're from
SHAUW (Students Helping Aloha United
Way). SHAUW is a campus wide, student run effort to raise
awareness of and money for Aloha United Way. This year’s Aloha United Way
Campaign runs from August - October and we need all of us to pitch in to help
our community.
Aloha United Way supports non profit agencies such as American Cancer Society,
American Red Cross, Hawaii Foodbank, Inc., YMCA, YWCA

We have some ideas that we would like to share and would appreciate some of
your creative input. One idea that we would like to discuss is the
possibility of your organization agreeing to do one event of your choosing
and earmarking the proceeds for Aloha United Way. We hope that with
combined donations from student organizations we will make an even greater
impact as well as be an example for others.
