Welcome to Derya


  Derya is a village located in Batroun district, at an elevation of 450m from sea level, 50kms from Beirut, 11kms from Batroun and 10 kms from Madfoun bridge.
Derya is sited between many religious places: St Hardini, St Rafka, our Lady of Elige and St Charbel.
  Derya is famous for its old oak tree which symbolizes the village, it is said to be more than 500 years old. Its Saint Lucius parish church dates back to 1890, was built on the rubble of an old church. Derya residents celebrate St Lucius (Mar Nohra),in the 22nd of July.
