Source:OGA Schorisse no. 254, front page Type of Document: Register
of legal documents (real estate sales etc.) of the Fief (Land) of Schorisse
since 1587. The front page of this register mentions the names of the officials
of this fief: Jan doultreman, High Bailiff (Hoochbaljuw), Adriaen de ruijvere,
Lieutenant, Joos roman, Mayor (Meyer). Box indicates the signature of Adriaen De
Ruyver Opening Lines: (partly erased)
"Register vande erffenischen (?), ende alle vercoopyninghen van goede
binnen de heerlickhede van Schoorisse sedert djaer 1587.

This page is taken from a church account (kerkrekening), dated February 6,
1596. It mentions Adriaen De Ruyver as "bailiff". This page is
signed by Adriaen De Ruyver and Joos Roman. Box indicates the signature of
Adriaen De Ruyver Opening Lines:Aldus....
(?) wettelijk ghepasseerd ter ambitri (?) van Mr. Lieven Verhaegen (?) pasteur

Source:OGA Schorisse no. 253, p. 19 B Type of Document:
Document describes the real estate belonging to the late Jan De Temmerman, put
for sale by the Baillif of the Fief and Tribunal of Schorisse. Adriaen de
Ruyvere is mentioned as "Ballu van de lande van Schoorisse" (Bailiff
of the Land of Schorisse). The document dates back to April 29, 1586. Box
highlights where Adriaen De Ruyver is mentioned. Opening Lines:
"Uyt Crachte van ghewesibdynck (?) ende acte resultariale ghegheven bij
Schepenen vande heerlijckede ende viersschaere van Schoorisse, Adriaen de
Ruyvere ballu van de lande van Schoorisse..."

Source:OGA Mater no. 346, under February 19, 1596, 3rd page. Type of Document:
Legal document made by the village officials of Mater. It contains a
complaint by the Countess of Lalaing, by the idow of Jan de Bleecker, and by
Adriaen de ruuvere against the heirs of David de bleeker and his wife Anne
temmermans. Adriaen De Ruyver is mentioned as Bailiff of the Land of
Schorisse and having as spouse Anne Scheppers. Text of the Passage
Concerning Adriaen De Ruyver: "Noch ten laste van de voornoemde
goedyngen clachte ghedaen van weghen Adr. De ruuvere Baillu vande Lande van
Schoorisse, in huwelijk hebbene Anne Scheppers, omme oock betaellynghe thebben
van zulck hij verheulen (?) ende hier te betooghen.
