| RULES: The league will consist of 12 teams. Each team will play every other team 3 times for a total of 33 games. The 33 game season will take place from April 2nd through July 31st. Cost is $5.00 per team. There will be a trophy given to the top three records at the end of our season. Each team will play 2 games per week. The first game consisting of Mon-Thur and the second game consisting of Fri-Sun with a few minor exceptions (see schedule). This will allow us to get the best stats from our players. We will get the best day for each of our players. EX: Sammy Sosa gets 10pts on Monday, 12pts on Tue, Off on Wed, and 4pts on Thur. Result would be 12pts for Sammy Sosa. Teams will play 8 batters: C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF (you will have only 4 backup spots total) HR = 4 pts 3B = 3 pts 2B = 2 pts 1B = 1 pt BB = 1 pt HBP = 1 pt SB = 1 pt RBI = 1 pt RUN = 1 pt Teams will play 1 pitcher: SP (best SP of 3 SPs) WIN = 3 pts ERA: 1.00 or less = 10 pts 1.01 - 1.50 = 7 pts 1.51 - 2.00 = 5 pts 2.01 - 3.00 = 2 pts K: 15 or more = 10 pts 12 - 14 = 7 pts 10 - 11 = 5 pts 8 - 9 = 2 pts Total points from 8 batters and 1 pitcher wins the game. Ties will be broken by taking the better score of a randomly picked position. Tie breakers at the end of the season are determined by head-to-head record between the teams tied. |
