| In the morning I went to the Opera Garnier - the old opera house named after the architect who built it. The guided tour was expensive, but worth every second. Because of the tour we were allowed into the main auditorium where rehearsals took place for a Ballet by Pina Baoush I saw box no. 5 (the phantom`s box) and the ceiling by Chagall. The building is magnificent, and looks like a palace being built with marble from 7 different countries. " The Day Room" is magnificent and has a special optical illusion showing sunset in the mirrors. | |||||||||||
