Windsor:
I took a train from Paddington Station to Windsor Central Station from which I walked up to the castle and seen the castle with it's great state room -- rebuilt after the fire they had a few years ago. I also so Queen Ann's Doll House -- built to work -- the bathrooms have running water, and the vacuum cleaner actually vacuums. The books have tiny text in them. I also sow the exhibition about the fire, the arms rooms which has the gown taken from Napoleon at the battle of Waterloo, and the bullet that hit Nelson in the battle of Trafalgar. I also saw St. John's Chappell, where the queen Mother is buried.
After the visit I ate lunch in a great Italian restaurant, across the street and down the ally from the castle, and after lunch took a buss to Legoland -- make sure you get off in the right stop -- I didn't and had to find the place in the dark. Thought the park is open in the winter -- it is not suited for the early darkness and not well lit. Actually -- there is not much to see there after dark.
