HOW WAS IT?

The 3 of us chose to ride up to 4X4 Campsite.  The 10km ascend was quite

OK, ridable ~ 95%.  the next 4km descend was quite intimidating with ruts

strewn everywhere.  It took us 2hr 30mins from kg orang Asli to reach the

campsite which apparently situated next to the joint of 2 rivers (if' I'm

not mistaken, the place fits nicely as a "sarang" jin).  The water was very

fast so, we didnt dare to berkubang (something that I would regret later)

too deep.

 

We lay parked there until 13:15hrs, Jeng & deGang still not back from the

waterfall, we started feeling drowsy - lay parked for too long.  We decided

to turn back leaving Jeng & deGang to catch up.  I had a snake bite

puncture just after the gravelly dh, just an ascend short to the car.

Luckily, Asri brought a spare tube, else I would have to push my Norco all

the way to the car.  We reached the car at 16:00hrs.  We couldnt see Alex

UKTB' car anymore, they must have made it much earlier than us... (fact is,

we didnt even bump into them, they were fast)

 

LAST WORDS

In & out at leasurely pace would take about 5hrs from Kg Orang Asli to 4x4

Camp.  Johan told me that the trail to the waterfall was blocked by

undergrowth.  They went as far as Sg Kerau/Kurau? and then turned back.

The downhills were fast & furious!
