PEDIGREE
RONAN
I originally went to see Ronan's litter with a view to using his sire at stud and certainly no intention of having one of the pups..  I was very impressed with the whole litter but one puppy in particular took my eye.  This puppy, Ronan as it transpired, demanded my attention the whole of the time I was there - he picked me you might say!!  After much deliberation on both sides, I was very pleased when Lorena offered me the opportunity of owning him and husband, Graham, bought him as a birthday present.......

Ronan continued his winning ways, winning the RCC at SKC May 2003 under Margaret Martin (Barnesmore).   Long suffering and good natured as usual, he endured being used as cushion by Rupert for most of the trip there and back ........... and still has to put up with it at home!!!  What a super dog he is.  At Paignton Ch Show June 2003 he won the RCC under Anne MacDonald..

Finally, and most importantly, he won his 3rd CC at Belfast Ch Show in September 2003 under Ken Bounden, making him officially into the Champion that he always has been to me.!

........ Ronan settled in well from the start and has turned out to be a very loyal, fun-loving and easygoing character.  His show career got off to a flying start with his excellent construction and breathtaking movement impressing the majority of judges (both breed specialists and all-rounders) he has been shown under..........

I

..........  Ronan remained consistent and took the Dog CC at City of Birmingham 2002 under Andrew Brace in very strong competition.

........... Despite losing three months' showing due to the Foot & Mouth outbreak, Ronan gained his Junior Warrant easily at 17 months.  He then qualified for the Kennel Gazette Junior Warrant competition and I was thrilled when he was one of the ten grand finalists. However, the highlight of 2001 was, undoubtedly, when he won the dog CC at South Yorkshire Whippet Club under Zena Thorn-Andrews when, once again, his movement won him top honours............
