Chili's review-Very funny film even though Dermot's part is smallish and his role is not a very nice man but still worth watching and keep an eye on a the scene of round table Dermot plays piano (not sure if Dermot was acting or can he really play the piano) and sings "Come and get happy".
The Wedding Date-
Chili's review-I saw this film in the plane and I loved it! Dermot played a character named "Nick Mercer" and he is just fabulous, played the character so well it felt so real. He makes me melt everytime I watch it (a must dvd collection).

Debra's character, and fell in love with Dermot's character Nick the minute he appeared on screen A must have for any Dermot fan.Plus he seems like a really great dancer, which is always a plus.

Chili's review: I'm not sure about this film. It was quite violent for me but it was good to watch Dermot in a different acting role, goes to show how versatile he is in unsual roles that he protray's.
Investigating Sex-
Chili's review: Interesting film, again different to his other films.
I would recommend it. Dermot's playing a professor on this film like his real dad.
Young Guns Special Edition-
Ariesgirl's review- Everyone did a fantastic job on this film, the standouts for me being Emilio as Billy, and Dermot as Steven. The events in the story took place in real life, and inspired to explore the legend of Billy the Kid further.
Chili's review-This movie was based on the real "Billy the Kid". If you like western movies you will appreciate this film. But if you're going to purchase the dvd you must buy the Special Edition for the Commentary of the Dermot and company. I must say the commentary is very funny. To be honest I've enjoyed the commentary more than the movie itself. But watching Dermot in this character I don't think its supposed to be funny, but I found it funny my apologies.

Chili's review: Definitely a chic flick... Sam (Dermot) god bless him his lovely. Dermot didn't have very much scene on the film but if you have a chance go and watch the film.
The Trigger Effect
Ariesgirl's review- Another movie that I liked, very dark kinda sad but I enjoyed it mainly for Dermot's performance as Joe. There were a lot of gaps and things unexplained that I wish could have been made more clear, but overall really good movie.
About Schmidt
Ariesgirl's review- I was curious about this one, and it was good even though the film focussed mainly around Jack Nicholson's character. There were some really sad elements to it, the strained relationship between Jack and Hope Davis's character, becomming even more so with the death of Warren Schmidt's wife. His disapproval of Dermot's character Randall, was prominent eventhough Randall time and time again goes out of his way to please Warren. To make peace with Warren and his daughter as well as being a shoulder to cry on for her. The family was bizarre, Randall's family but his father was absolutely sweet even after being talked down to by the mother. Overall the best part of the film was the wedding at the end.
Where the day takes you
Chilli's review: Very sad film. Its in your face kinda of reality. The sad fact that its a real life situation, makes me realise how lucky I am for my family.
Ariesgirl's review-Since I am a fan of everthing sixties, that along with Dermot's terrific performance as Pirate is one of the reasons I love this film. People will recognize some of his castmates, such as Noah Wyle from ER Kelli Williams from the practice and Rick Schroeder as well. But its our Dermot that really steals the show.
