First referred to as "Gay-related-Immune-Disorder," we watch the effect of the disease as it devastates the lives of our protagonist. Jumping between Manhattan and Fire Island vignettes carry us from the it-coudn't happen to me mentality of the early days of the disease to the invasive effect it has had on all of our lives, today. 1989-Survival Quest-Gray Plot: A bunch of city slickers from different backgrounds go into the wild mountains to be one with nature, but basically to have a good time. However, a paramilitary group has chosen the same time to go camping. When one of the soldiers their boss has been killed by one of the city slickers, he coaxes his team into exterminating all of them.
