Onychomadesis is defined as spontaneous separation of the nail plate from the nail bed, beginning at its proximal end and resulting in the shedding of the nail.
causes :
1- systemic illnesses ( SLE , Fever.....)
2- generalized skin diseases( Pustuler Psoriasis ,Eczema , .......
3- and drug therapies.
4- idiopathic onychomadesis occurring in a familial pattern.
We report 3 cases of Onychomadesis :
1- post fever
2 - ideopathic
3- with chronic eczema
