Factitial Panniculitis
20 -year- military -male had a oval lesion on his left leg from months . the skin is atrophy , and lesion painful .
histopathology :
- atrophy of epidemis .
- atrophy of fat tissue .
- rare inflitration of inflamatiry cells . and in some area there is rare granulomatosis .
the patient said that he injected oily material in his leg .
comment :
the injection of maneral oil into tissues may induce a granulomatous foreign- body reaction ( sclerosing lipogranuloma ) or Paraffinoma .
