Linear scleroderma
eleven -year – female ha a hard band limited on left lower leg , his wide 2-3 c.m -
The Disease had begun as oedema after mild trauma -
-Physical exam showed Hard band hyperpigmintation in some area-
-Routine blood test ( include E.S.R ) : N -
RF,CRP,ANA: Negative-
Histopathology
Atrophy of epidermal .
-Increased of dermal collagen fibers , and marked decreased in celularity of dermis with small number of inflammatory elements.
-Localized scleroderma is 3 subtypes :
Morphea
Generalized morphea
Linear scleroderma
-The disease is rare , and the course is un predictable . Most cases resolve in 3-5 years , Small number progress to involve deeper subcutaneous tissues, muscles,periosteum.and subsequent joint contraction
-In 25 % the lesion occur after trauma
Treatment :
- Topical and intralesional corticosteroid .
-D-penicillamine •Calcipotriene ointment .
-MTX.
-Systemic corticosteroid
-We
treated with topical and systemic steroid ( 40 mg / day )
