| You were always there to pick me up Whenever I fell down Wiped away the tears from my face Should i ever have worn a frown You were always there to comfort me No matter what life threw A person I could confide in A mother that was so true I know I took for granted All that you had given I wasnt the best son ever I hope I am forgiven I didnt make life easy But I learned so much through it all The lessons of life you taught I am proud to stand tall Confidence to face the world From you I got my strength To get any job accomplished No matter at what personal lengths The pride of a mother you showed Who raised five kids right A loving home to return to Safe bed to lay in at night Life has not been easy for us The different obstacles we've been dealt But through all the hard times thrown The strength of our family was felt I hope I made a difference I hope I could give some back A fraction of the love you showed me To get life back on track Mom I want to thank you For all that you have done Loved me with all you had to give And I am proud to be called your son As time draws to an end A new calling has been found But I know deep in my heart and through the tears That you are surely heaven bound So fly with the angels Let your wings be free No matter where my life turns I know you will always be here with me Dedicated to the most amazing, beautiful, strongest, caring, loving women in the world.
