The Unichip Group Buy....

What Unichip can do....

In an unbiased test, we unconditionally guarantee no other ECU product makes more power from your gas
engine than a custom tuned Unichip or your money back.  If within 90 days another ECU program of product
makes more horsepower, contact your dealer for a refund.
All Unichip components additionally come with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturer defect from
the date of purchase.  The warranty against defect is only applicable to Unichips installed by certified Unichip
technicians or for components installed as part of a Unichip of North America PnP kit, and is only valid for the
original purchaser and for the original installation. And lets not forget that For 90 days following the original
owner’s purchase of a Unichip, Unichip of North America (UNA) warrants no other ECU product generates
more power from a specific gasoline engine than a properly functioning, custom tuned Unichip in the specific
vehicle for which it is tuned.  If another ECU product generates more power from that engine within 90 days
of the original owner’s purchase of the Unichip, then UNA will refund original owner the cost of all UNA parts,
UNA installation, and UNA tuning.  Shipping, testing, dynamometer costs and the cost of removing any UNA
parts are specifically not covered by this warranty and will not be refunded to the owner.

What Happens First.......
In order for Unichip, or any manufacturer for that matter, to make a custom high performance part, we must
identify whether or not there are enough interested people to make it worth while to produce. This page is what
must happen to get this buy going.

If you have anything you don’t understand or just questions about what the this is capable of then please ask
them. We want everyone to be informed and involved. This plug and play device requires no cutting or wiring to
the car. Just unplug one plug, insert the Unichip, then plug the plug into the Unichip.

        Getting a Volunteer....(and get a free Unichip!)
We need someone who live in the Portland Oregon area, or would be willing to go there and let Unichip                 
test and tune your car for at least a few days. Ideally, someone that has a stock 6 that has mods they                   
are ready to put on or a modded 6 that has OEM parts available to return the vehicle to stock. We want                 
to be able to create tuning maps for every level of performance starting with stock and hopefully all the                  
way up.

Dyno Proof!! (I will post the dyno charts as they are made available)
Unichip is so certain that they can create a product that will enhance the performance of our car that they are,
unlike many companies, going to prove it. They will provide dyno sheets with explanations and comparisons so
that there is no doubt in your mind that you’ll get the biggest bang for your buck. Once testing is under way you
can check here for results. Until then I will post a list of those people who are on board here. So what are you

Retail Price is tentatively $699-749, but with our Group buy we would get 10% off with 20 people, 15% off with
30 people and a whopping %20 with 40 people. Once Dyno testing has been completed each member on the list
will be asked to put down only $100. This is fully refundable only if Unichip is unable to make a plug and play unit
as promised. Once we have our twenty people locked in, Unichip will begin manufacturing the computers. Surely
you’d pay the same for a computer as you would for the exhaust/intake combo which gets the same HP gains?
Plus this mod grows with you car, performs better as you add mods!

What Happens Next......
OK, once we have at least 20 Madza 6 enthusiasts in place; After Unichip has fulfilled there end of the group buy
(by testing and providing factual data), we are ready to make this a reality. Each member of the group buy will
secure his or her Unichip by putting a $100 deposit down. This is not bad considering many companies want full
payment up front. It is also a necessity. Our friends at Unichip will have already invested many thousands of
dollars in testing and tuning to ensure we’ll be getting a quality product and our deposits will be what they will
use to order the parts necessary to make our computers. Once the deposits have been  made the Unichips for
the Mazda 6 will go into production. They will take about six weeks to complete but that is well worth the wait for
such a sought after mod.

FAQ: (this will be updated as questions are sent in)
1.) Will I have to do anything to my car to put in the Unichip and how easy can I take it out?
a.) You don't have to make any changes to your cars wiring, simply unplug the connector that plugs into your
ECU, plug in the Unichip, and plug the free connector into the Unichip. It comes out the same way and makes no
changes to your ECU.
2.)can a plug and play unit be unistalled after the car is sold and be reprogramed for your next car ( from what i
understand this is possible for the "regular version")
a.)unless you buy another mazda that uses the same ECU the Unichip is not universal, at least not as a plug and
play unit. When it's constructed it will have the proper connectors to plug directly into your ECU so the chances of
that plug and ecu wiring matching any other car are slim.
3.)for people that have headers installed wouldnt the chip have to be tuned differently? if so will it cost more?
a.)regardless of the mods you have the price will be the same and it will be tuned to the mods you have.
4.)is there a unichip website i might be able to go to and get info?
a.)www.unichip.us is where you wanna go for info.
5.)is this gonna be for the mazda 6s or 6i?
a.) I am working with Unichip now to make sure we can have it for both. Definitly for the V6 and I will let you
know when we are sure we have a set up for the i. You can remoove your name from the list after we verify, no
problem.
6.)what kind of hp gains can I expect from the Unichip?
a.) We don't know for sure yet but I believe 10% (hopefully). That would be 22hp at the flywheel for a stock 6.
Unichip believes it will be much better but this is all just speculation until they can begin testing.
7.)When do I need to send money and how much?
a.)send no money now, once testing is complete and we have a successful product, you will be required to put
only $100 down and pay the rest when the Unichips are finished.

Please keep in mind that these numbers are for comparison only. We know that our CAI produces much more power than what
the Honda guys get and we also know that our cars have a lot more power to be made in timing and Fuel maps than the Honda
guys. If this chart holds true for us, then we could assume the same gains from the Unichip as we would get from the
CAI/Magnaflow combo. That would make this an awesome mod. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
