About REV
REV started out as the ReWF. We had a successful run but circumstances beyond our control forced the ReWF into hiatus. With no money, it looked like the ReWF would die. But then somebody bought the name of the company, kept all the personal aboard and decided to re-open it under the name REV. The commisioner's position has been vacated several times, but it looks now that everything is in order. With Slick Silver Smith's guidance, the REV is ready to be something huge.
Rules (We all hate them....)
Let's get this junk out of the way quickly, shall we? I can see you getting up to go take a leak so hurry up and get back here to finish this off. I promise it won't be long:-) There's not much here but of what there is, we hope everybody can follow them.
OOC
Don't ever bitch about a loss. That's the number one no/no and will not be tolerated. There is a zero tolerance policy on this meaning you whine or bitch, you're out of the fed. We don't take this seriously and you shouldn't either. If you are so worked up that it caused you to bitch, it means you are taking things way too seriously and you are in the wrong place. You can't win all your matches, nobody can. Just have fun and go with the flow. If you ever do need to "talk" about something that happened in your match but it better just be a question and that's the end of it. To sum it up, there are many feds on the
net. Do not waste my time or any of the handlers time by joining the REV if a losing will bother you.
Actions
Actions are important to your character and to the quality of the shows. An action is anything you send to be put on the show. Things like in ring or backstage interviews, interference's, sneak attacks, angles, etc. Your actual action will never have a result on a match (unless agreed upon by both parties involved) but it can be used as a tie breaker on roleplay grounds since it is a form of roleplaying.
Roleplaying
You need to roleplay at least once a week to show you are active. There is no limit to how much you can roleplay between shows however here's the system we will use. We will take your three best roleplays of the ones posted to help determine the winner. All roleplays are counted towards your total push but on a weekly basis, this is how we will determine winners. For PPV's it's a bit different in that we use total push which means your total roleplaying (which is everything you've done prior to and up until the PPV, including roleplays in excess of the 3 limit each week) as well as participation (angle involvement, keeping heat on your character, etc.). It works in a similar format for MidNite Mayhem supercards as well.
In addition, to prevent "spamming" on the boards, roleplays will be limited to one every 12 hours. If you roleplay twice in 12 hours, only the first one will count.
You can use stiffer language on the boards but don't over do it. Don't just go out there and say the "f-word" a million times because it'll look very badly on you. Have your language suit your character and the situation he/she is in.
Judging
I personaly judge all matches. If you have a problem, talk to me. Just so everyone is on the same page, I judge roleplays on three main criteria. In order of importance they are entertainment, wrestling involvment, and effort.
1. Entertainment: I, nor anyone else, want's to read a hundred page RP that just isn't interesting. By interesting and entertaining I don't mean that you have to crack a joke every second. Sober, touching, from the heart roleplays are good too.
2. Wrestling Involvement: By wrestling involvement, I mean that I like it when RPs are relevant to the match at hand. Anyone can write a novel on what their character does on the weekend. It's back and forth action between wrestlers that makes this e-sport so cool.
3. Effort: Finally, if I see you putting real effort out, you'll be rewarded.
