Background:       Valykerie's father was never a great worker, and his family always had to scrape by on a few pennies, but after his father died, they had no money at all.       Valykerie was only ten years old when that happened, and he believed that it was his responsibility to earn money for the family (after all, he was the only man of the house left). At that age, very few professions were available to him, so he ended up a pawn in a small time drug dealer's organization.       His mother and younger sister knew, and both pleaded with him to stop, but he didn't listen. Finally something happened to change his profession before he was jailed for life.       One night when he was 16, Valykerie was with his boss during a police bust. Valykerie simply hid at the side, planning to go with the cops after the bust. During the fighting, one of the cops mistook him for a fighter, and took a shot. Luckily, it was only a flesh wound, but he still has a scar on his left cheek.       After he served his community service, he didn't go near the drugs again, and instead searched for another way to make money for his family. After bouncing back and forth between jobs, he ran into a commercial for a wrestling fed, the MWA.       He went to join up, but at the age of 17, the manager said he was too young to fight. However, he was hired as a runner boy, and it payed relatively well. When he reached the age of 18, he had already seen and talked to many different wrestlers, so he learned quickly during his training.       At the age of 19, he made his debut on the MWA weekly show. He won his first match, as well as the one after. Before long, he was up for the TV title.       Then disaster struck. In his match, when he tried to execute his finisher, his opponent sent Valykerie off balance. Valykereie fell, dropping his opponent head first, and breaking his neck.       This impacted Valykerie for the whole of a week before the lust for glory and money kept him on his way up. Then he got an offer to join a bigger, better federation . . . .       The NSW was a dream come true. With his national exposure, and his wealthy friends, he made a mark in the business, but it went down hill fast. Since then, he has been happy running his night club... until an old friend resurfaced on the national scene.       Valyk followed Shadowflare to the EWA, where they were both a success. Unfortunately, Valyk was a success in the lower ranks, while Shadowflare held the world title for quite a while. It wasn't due to skill as much as bad booking, and the fact that the administration didn't seem to like him. His final match there was his first and only world title shot, which he lost with his foot in the ropes. He was so angry at the cheep loss, that he left and went on vacation with his family, and a new found friend Alice.       The vacation lasted a few months before Valykerie got bored. Running his nightclub wasn't enough to keep him occupied, nor was his new girl friend. Eventually, he couldn't resist returning to the world wrestling, so he found out where Shadowflare had gone, and followed him once again to the original ReWF.       To put it lightly, things didn't go so well in the ReWF. Valykerie was pretty much left destitute when it closed. His nightclub was burned down, with Alice inside, because of his wrestling career. Everything was taken from him by a shadow from the past, one "Mr. Raincoat," who had been in that police bust so many years ago, and blamed Valykerie for it. He became a drunkard, doing just enough work to keep himself buried in alcohol. But then the REV surfaced, and with no sign of his former enemy, he decided to give it one more shot.       That shot went decently well, though Valykerie never did get the Revolution title. Then something happened that broke his spirit. A fake attack was engineered by his rival Shadowflare, making it look like Valykerie had beaten his opponent to the point of hospitilization. No one believed Valykerie's story, the all followed the trail of breadcrumbs that Bruce Garrett left.       Though he was eventually cleared of the attack, it became obvious to Valykerie that all the honor in the world wasn't worth a damn. He took a leave of absence, and returned as a masked man named Fade. As Fade he attacked anyone he pleased, pulling a double pay check all the time, and had quite a lot of fun doing it. When the REV began to fall into disrepute, Valykerie revealed himself to the new owner, "Slick" Silver Smith, and was quickly named to the position of commisioner. 8 Favorite Moves: STF Boston Crab Octopus Stetch Top Rope Leg Drop Leg Pick Full Nelson Face Crusher Tarantula Abdominal Stretch Signature Move: "Fade to Black" (A smooth motion sweep kick followed by an elbowdrop to the neck.
