The Typhoon Page!

I had the experience like i have never had before just about 1 week ago.  Typhoon Jelawat smacked into okinawa in the first week of August.  It had top wind speeds of 145 mph.  I lasted 2 1/2 days, and we still high winds for days to come.  Anywasy, I took these pictures before during and after the typhoon!!  Enjoy.....

This is a before and after picture of our radio shop.  I was on the typhoon readyness team, so i had to go out into the storm and close the windows.  There were some cinder blocks holding antennas up on the roof.  Well they just happened to blow off the roof when i was walking by.  I didnt get hurt but i could have.
