| How does the Society finance all this work? We do not receive any grant from the government and depend entirely on thegenerosity of the public. Over $1,000,000.00 a year is needed to do our work. Fundraising activities are organisedthroughout the year such as flag day, weekend jumble, sale of greeting cards, t-shirts, posters, notelets etc. Donation boxesare placed in many accessible areas such as shopping centres. Cruelty to animals is a crime.
