[Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: Mr. Bean rushed to the office and he sat on the chair quickly, pretending to do his work. He had already been late for so many times but he didn’t care about it. Suddenly, his secretary went to him. [Secretary - Ermalisa Bte Mazelan(05)]: Mr. Bean, the boss is calling you. [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: He began to worry as he did not know what is going to happen to him. [Sound Tan Zhao Jun(21)]: Knock! Knock! (the door sound) [Boss - Ahmad Refaee B Bakadool(26)]: Come in! Ah! I have been expecting to see you, Mr. Bean. [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: What is the matter, you want to see me for? [Boss - Ahmad Refaee B Bakadool(26)]: I’m sorry to tell yoy tha you have been ‘RETRENCHED’ [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: What are you saying? It cannot be!!! Scene 2: At Mr. Bean’s house [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: Mr. Bean slowly went up to his bedroom. He sit at his bed and began tlking to his favorite teddy bear in a low tone. [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: you are the one and only teddy bear that I can talk to. Today, I am very sad because I’ve been ‘RETRENCHED’ and I do not have enough money to support my wife. What am I going to do? [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: He thought and thought and thought but nothing got to his mind. So he went down and watch television. He switched on to ‘WESTWOOD NEWSASIA’ [News reporter - Suzie Susanti Bte Adigumnarwan(18)]: Good morning to everyone. I am Suzie and you are watching ‘WESTWOOD NEWSASIA’. Today, we have special highlights on retrenchment in year 2004. many people have been rentreched by their boss because of their attitude of being late for work. Scene 3: At the pub [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: He went in and sat at one corner. [Waiter - Natasha Liana Bte Hashim(06)]: What would you like to have, Sir? [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: I would like to have a glass of bear (very gloomy look). [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: He drank the first glass, second glass and one more glass. Just as he was aout to finish his last sip of beer, a man called PCK appeared and sat right next to him. PCK started to talk to him… [PCK - Muhammad Taufiq B Sarifuddin(41)]: Aloha! (he laugh weirdly) [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: Mr. Bean smiled at him sadly! [PCK - Muhammad Taufiq B Sarifuddin(41)]: Why are you looking so sad, uh? [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: Because I’ve been ‘RETERENCHED’ and I do net have enough money to support my wife! Scene 4: At Ah Siong’s Gambling Club [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: As he entered, he saw many people gambling in the club. As PCK and Mr. Bean were walking, PCK stopped. It was a big room and inside the room was Ah Siong, the boss of this club. [PCK - Muhammad Taufiq B Sarifuddin(41)]: Helllo! Long time no see, brother! [Ah Siong - Ishammudin B Ramlan(31)]: PCK…! You are here. How happy to see you! How was your drink at the pub? [PCK - Muhammad Taufiq B Sarifuddin(41)]: Goosd..! [Ah Siong - Ishammudin B Ramlan(31)]: Who is this person standing next to you? [PCK - Muhammad Taufiq B Sarifuddin(41)]: Oh! He Mr. Bean. He has been ‘RETRENCHED’ and he does not have enough money so he wants to join the club. [Ah Siong - Ishammudin B Ramlan(31)]: Ok! Please sit down and join us for a game. [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: he began playing. [Ah Siong - Ishammudin B Ramlan(31)]: Please place you bet! [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: He took out $150 out of his wallet and put it on the table. Scene 5: Back at Mr. Bean’s house [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: When he was about to go into the house like cunning fox, his wife, Rosie called him. [Angle & Mr. Bean Wife - Nurul Haziqah Bte Suhaimi(10)]: Where have you been, Mr. Bean? Why are you so late? [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: He kept quiet and didn’t say a single word. He went up to his bedroom and went to sleep. As he was sleeping that night, he dreamt of something. He dreamt that his tessy bear had turned in to a devil and Rosie into an angel. [Devil - Zulkifli B Zakaria(44)]: Mr. Bean, tomorrow you must gamble to make more money. Think of your wife. Think for your wealth. Think…Think…Think…!!! [Angle & Mr. Bean Wife - Nurul Haziqah Bte Suhaimi(10)]: No! No! if you gamble some more, you will not only loose your wealth but also your future. Think twise before you do. So don’t gamble! Scene 6: the next morning [Narrator Prisheena Kaur Dhaliwal(12)]: Mr. Bean wake up and realised that it was only a dream. He went to the toilet and brushed his teeth. After that, he went down to the dinning hall. He was having breakfast of two pieces of chocolate cream pie and a cup of cappuchino. As he was having his breakfast, he began to read the newspaper. Suddenly, his mouth was wide open. He read that Ah Siong’s gambling club have been raided by the police that night before and many people including Ah Siong were to be in prison for a minimum of 5 years. Mr. Bean felt very relieved. Luckily , he was not arrested. [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: I was lucky. Or else, I will be in prison. Whatever the angel said was right. How stupid I was to gamble. I think it its better to get my old job back rather than gamle. Scene 7: Back to office [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: Eventually, he went to the office and ask for his old job back. [Sound Tan Zhao Jun(21)]: Knock! Knock! (the door sound) [Boss - Ahmad Refaee B Bakadool(26)]: Come in! [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: I’m sorry sir, I will never never be late again. I’ll be punctual all the time. [Boss - Ahmad Refaee B Bakadool(26)]: All right then. I’ll give you another chance if you do a better job this time. [Mr. Bran - Dominic Cheong Chi Keong(30)]: I will, Sir! You can count on me, Sir! [Narrator- Cheah Huay Sian Regina(02)]: From then onwards, Mr. Bean worked very hard even if it proved very challenging for him. He became very rich and owned a big bungalow for himself, his wife and his precious teddy bear. |
