Rajma (MILD) serves 4
Spices:
1tsp. Turmeric.
1Tbl. Garam Massala.
25mm. Fresh Ginger Root (peeled and chopped).
4 cloves of Garlic (chopped).
3Tbl. Cooking Oil.
Salt.
1 Onion (diced).
3 Medium Tomatoes (chopped).
400g. Tin/Jar Kidney Beans (rinsed and drained).
Fresh Coriander (for garnish).
Method:
Fry the Onion with 3Tbl. oil in a saucepan until golden.
Add the Garlic and Ginger, stir fry for 2 minutes.
Add the Tomatoes, Turmeric and Salt, simmer until the Tomatoes have broken down into a sauce.
Add the Garam Massala and Kidney Beans, simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with Fresh Coriander and serve immediately with rice or chapattis.
