Lord of Tresserhorn is a Magic: The Gathering card (a badass summon creature). I actually traded this card straight up for Weezer's 2nd Album "Pinkerton" (the foundation of emo).
A Pornographers tale - this isnt really about porn, it's about having hide sides of yourself from people you like b/c you know they wont like. I just use the obvious example of a person in the porn industry trying to have alove life, but pornography can come in many shapes and forms.
Lincoln-Kennedy - this song was originally about Bob Crane of "Hogan's Heros" fame, but keith said it sucked so i changed it, i dont think it's much better, basically about the crazy connections between the kennedy and lincoln assasination (very interresting - check it out sometime). And i solo alot, it's fun to solo.
Long Distances - This is a simple song that i wrote in my head walkin home from class one day in January. It's kind of a reflection of my sophmore year of college which i spent at home meanwhile my friends at athens had fun.
The scientific method - I had been toying around with a chemistry song since I firs got my guitar. It's kind like that old motown boyband song, "don't know much about..." something like that. i like science. I recorded the song after a long saturday night, it was early sunday and chruch tv was on and i recorded it onto the tracks, it actually timed up perfectly by fluke.
The amazing von trapp family - Just a stupid song, with a main refrence to the sound of music. basically liza took control of this song, it's really goofy. we ripped off some song with the "song long farewell" part, we can't figure out what song it was. if you know tell me.
The trains movin - this song was about "el cobra - a pedophile wrestler", i changed it. so, now its about trying to impress a girl that i really like, but being horrible at it. the only good thing i have to offer the girl is that i am here and will always be.
Vodka, vicadin, and vegetables - i guess this songs about screwing up, and more and more each day it becomes relevant. it's developed into a joke that is my life.
Wonderfully horrible time - this song is kinda about the ideas of sigmund freud and the life of Lynny Reibstanll (a film maker for Hitler.) Life sucks.
Yeah thats my middle name - the title of the song is meaningless, just a declaration that i am finally okay with my middle name. I wrote it about this religious girl that i liked, well i only kinda liked her, i was desperate. i think it comes out in the song. Some girls arent worth bending over backwards for.
Zombie Sequels - it seems this summer "night of the living dead 2" was on everynight. It's just a ridiculous movie, just like every zombie movie. So i wrote a song about the movie, and the whole zombie movie industry in general. there is a great scene where this naked punk rock zombie girl dances thru the street and then eats some hobo's brain.
