It has recently come to my attention that some disgusting mothers (probably sex-starved) continue to breast feed long after thier children have teeth and are talking, but even old enough to walk. I'm talking age 4 here, 5. That's just WRONG. Disgusting. If a child is old enough to say "Mom, give me that tit", they are too damn old. Now I know there are some sap heads out there that consider 2 and 3 year olds to be "little kids".... and they are... in the grand scale of things! But if childhood ends at around age 10 (and early adolesence begins) then a 2 year old is 20% or 1/5th through his childhood and a 3 year old is 30% or more than 33%. And human development at these ages is MUCH faster than at any other time of life, except maybe in utero. So basically, giving a child a tit past the age that they have and can eat solid food is just sickening. I've even heard accounts of women discussing the orgasms they recieve while breast feeding, and I think that's just sick and perverted, too. I have no problem calling these latent sickos pedophiles. Just because they are your children DOESNT mean that you can make them perform oral sex on you... and if you're having orgasms... and feeding longer than is necessary... then that's what you're doing. I've heard the excuse that in other countries, breast feeding children up until 8 or 9 is considered normal... hmmm.... I wonder why. These other "countries" are usually third world lands where everyone is starving and children need every morsel off food they can get. In some parts of africa, water is so scarce that parents wash thier children with thier own (the parent's) urine (which, unlike fecal matter, is completely sterile unless the person has a bladder infection). Yet, the people who came up with these examples were using them to defend the actions of western couples. Okay... by that logic, these same North American children should be bathed in piss and given clitorectomies and have ritual scarification performed on them. In short... you can't compare two completely different cultures, and it's a lame excuse. I find Micheal Jackson really wanting sleep overs with pre pubescent boys for innocent reasons far more believable, actually. There is the "it boosts the immune system" rap... I know about that one, but only up until a certain age, usually the age the young breaks it's teeth. I've even heard the example that other closesly related primates (such as gorillas and chimps) breast feed until the human equivalent of 4 or 5, but lets look at this one, too. Like that "a dog's life is 7 times faster than a human" argument... this is argument is fallacious, too. A dog doesnt age 7 times as quickly. It doesn't have the human equivalent of progeria, for christ sakes! It only lives 12 (or however many) years to begin with! That's like saying humans age twice as fast as sea turtles... since we're all on the same planet in the same time-space continuum, we are all aging at the same rate... we each get a second older, every second, for instance. It's just that some animals don't live as long, end of fucking story. Animals that live 20, 30 or even 40 years (optimally) can not be compared to humans who now are routinely living into thier hundreds. Not only are animal (even closely related) metabolisms (which is why animal testing re: drugs and such is SUCH bullshit- chocolate is poisonous to dogs, and different drugs kill mice but help humans and kill humans but help mice so testing drugs and even products on animals is stupider than Bush's foreign policy) different, but the way this argument was originally arrived at consisted of monitoring the weights of the infant gorillas and chimps breast feeding and dividing that weight into thier expected adult weight, than doing the same for humans. Which is bullshit, basically, because a tiny little chimp can weigh a TON more than you'd ever expect and is about 10 times stronger than a full grown man.
Wild animals also gain weight far more rapidly than humans . You just can't compare apples and oranges. The fact remains that it's disgusting. I've also heard it said that if the child "doesn't mind", what's the harm? Hmmm, well, I don't think most parents that breast feed 3 year olds give a damn... they just don't want thier "wittle baby" to grow up because it makes them face thier own mortality. Too damn bad- you're getting old, bitch, is what I want to say to those mothers, and that four year old isn't even a toddler anymore, let alone an infant! If this breast milk stuff is so damn good for our immune systems, why don't they sell HUMAN milk in the grocery store (or at the very least in health food stores) right alongside the bovine-saturated cow variety? No. These people are just sick closet pedophiles grasping at straws to support the sex acts they make thier kids perform.
