I was born in Kalimpong, a small town in the foothills of the Himalayas. I did my schooling from St. Augustine's School, a Roman Catholic institution founded in 1945, located in the hills with breathtaking views of mountains and the river down below. Those were the days I will always cherish. Those cool summers and the chilly winters, going out with buddies and bunking class to see movies. Going to jungle safaris, climbing small hills and fishing in the rivers. Some of my best friends are those school buddies. Now we are far away from each other concerned about our careers, but we will all meet some day and get back to those old times. I took up science and completed my class 12th from the same school. I was interested in sports from my early childhood. I played all kinds of outdoor sports and some indoor games, but never mastered one. I was "the jack of all trades but master of none". Played football, volleyball, cricket and table tennis for the house team in school. After finishing my class 12th, I joined Ghousia College of Engineering in Bangalore. Spent four years of my life there and was rewarded with a bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. These four years taught me a lot and made me strong to face the challenges of life. The ragging days, which went for a whole year before we were given the fresher's party, the late night group studies, where we hardly studied and fooled around most of the time, the mass copying of assignments and the tracing of engineering graphic drawings. these years passed like a dream. now came the tough days of my life. I was in a confused state of mind. should I look for a job? or pursue further studies. if so in which discipline? After lot of thinking and brainstorming, I decided to elongate my student status for some more years. I joined Christ College, Bangalore for my MBA degree. it was a twinning program with Assumption University in Thailand. After completing six months in Christ College, we were all transferred to Assumption University. Right now, I'm on my course to complete my MBA and to experience what the life has in store for me next. |
