| This Hobbit costume was made for my friend's mom. ~The vest was a simplified version of Simplicity 8855. I replaced the front panels with a snap-in inset, and omitted the lining. ~The blouse was Simplicity 8741 (or something similar) with a flare added to the cuff. ~The skirt was simply a tube with elastic at the top. ~The hat was a Colonial dust cap found in Simplicity 9713. ~The shawl and cloak were found at a local thrift store |
