| My first recollection of Jimmy was when I was just a kid. My uncle was on leave from the Navy and was wearing a Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band tee shirt that he had picked up at a show somewhere on the East Coast. I guess he was the crazy uncle and I was the kid in Pascagula Run. And we did have some Pascagula Runs ourselves! It's been downhill ever since. The first Jimmy cassette I bought was 'You had to be there.' The first CD I owned (and still have) is Fruitcakes. The most recent of course is 'Far Side of the World.' I guess I see Jimmy as an all around great guy, philosopher singer/songwriter. And of course, we Parrottheads are the greatest group of people to know. |

| My girlfriend and I went to New Orleans on June 22, just to hang out for the day and of course we stopped in Margaritaville. We need one in Dallas! I am working on getting some pictures posted here from the concerts and Margaritaville when I get them developed. |

| 2002 Riddles in the Sand! Thanks to the great pholks in the Galveston Bay Parrothead Club for putting on a terrific phlocking! The event was held at the Victoian Condo-tel/condominiums and it was a perfect venue. The party Friday night was a blast, the band was great. The pool party on Saturday was a lot of phun, boy was that place packed. The party and Auction on Saturday evening was a phun event too. Looks like all 327 parrotheads in attendance were having a blast, except this couple that was sitting next to us...he seemed to be kind of a sour-puss and she wasn't too into it either.
