Some of the most beautiful mountain peaks in the US are inactive volcanoes. These are primarily located on the Pacific side of our country; i.e., Alaska, California, Oregon, and Washington. In the title bar below each slide I'll show the name, the state (abbreviation), the elevation, and when known, the length of time in years since the last eruption as estimated by the experts.
