COPPER HARBOR, MICHIGAN (Upper Peninsula)

Extending out into Lake Superior on a narrow spit of land, is the town of Copper Harbor....the most northern part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It has a population of about 100. The one-room school house is still used up to the 8th grade. Copper Harbor averages about 250 inches of snow each year. These photographs are courtesy of our fellow viewers, Kevin and Deanna. Drop them a line to thank them for these wonderful shots of scenes and objects in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is the second show about the Upper Peninsula from their photos. You can email them at this address. They also furnished photos for another show titled "Lake Superior" which you should see as well.

For an interesting scene, view the live cam on the Copper Harbor web site (6 AM to 9 PM).

The midi is "Colors of the Wind".
