Should You Change Child Care

If you suspect any type of emotional,
physical or sexual abuse, remove your child from care until the situation is investigated or resolved to your satisfaction. Report these serious concerns to the authorities for
investigation.

In many cases, however, the decision on whether to remove your child from care is less clear cut. Changes in daily routine can be hard on young children, so in considering a change of child care, be sure to balance your concerns with your child's interests. In addition, be sure that you have found an
alternative arrangement that will be better than the care you are leaving.

As always, if you have concerns about your child care situation, call 4 Parents Helpline, child care counselors for help, at 303-695-7996.
